I don’t usually leave reviews, but I couldn’t just not say anything after my experience at this vet. In order for everyone to understand, I need to share a little bit of my background…. I owned and operated a non-profit sanctuary for farm animals, but we also took in many others. I have been to many vet offices and vet emergency hospitals in the upstate area. I know a lot about animals, rescuing, and vets. But after I started dealing with major health issues, we had to close our sanctuary. We still have many farm animals, dogs and cats because they help me just as much as I’ve helped them. Animals will ALWAYS be apart of my life, because they are apart of my heart. They all mean a lot to me, but every so often I come across an animal who touches my heart in more ways than the rest. This is where I introduce you to Finn. Finn has been my sisters dog for 8-9 years, as she got him for her family when he was a puppy. Even though he was technically their dog, I was named “his person”, by everyone. Me and Finn instantly connected and our love completely grew from there. Sadly, in Dec 2024 Finn started having medical issues so he was brought here to officially live with us. Me and him bonded even more since we both were struggling physically and mentally. We definitely helped each other mentally the past 4 months we had together. Finn started to get sicker so I decided to take Finn into Mauldin Station Vet, because they were the only vet I could get him into ASAP! The worst happened and as any pet parent who is reading this, knows what that is. So we made the best decision for Finn. We just didn’t want him to be in any more pain. Even though the worst did happen, Dr. Anna and Allie did everything (and much more) to help us through this. They had a large “comfort room” that truly was a room of comfort. They did nose and paw prints. Put some of his hair in a little jar. And placed Finn safely into a box for us to bring him home, so he could be buried here. They were so honest and loving during the whole experience, that we will NEVER go to another vet again. Everything about this vet so was nice, welcoming and honestly just felt like home. Thank you so much to Dr. Anna and Allie for taking such sweet care of us and our sweet baby, Finn! - Jessi ❤️ (we own a private tattoo studio called Crybaby Tattoo why it’s under that name ) - Crybaby Tattoo
