Veterinary Emergency Group Reviews
I can’t say enough about how pleased I with my experience here. I live in a neighboring county and had never been here previously but from the time I stepped in the door with my puppy Jessie, I felt like everything was focused on us. It is not uncommon for veterinary offices take your pet from you to another room for assessment or treatment. Here they let you stay with your pet throughout the entire process.I felt like Jessie’s illness was due to a new food but she was quite sick and the staff functioned very well as a team to take care of not only her but also making sure I didn’t need anything. Jessie was hospitalized for almost 24 hours and I was able to stay with her the whole time in a private room which was amazing. She could rest in a bedroom-like setting with me which she was used to.Consultations were made as her situation unfolded but they determined the cause of her problem and initiated treatment. They kept me informed every step of the way regarding test results and changes in care plan. The dynamic of VEG is focused on the patient and family in a way I’ve never experienced elsewhere and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They combine clinical competence with compassion and empathy to help support you through a stressful situation and I thank them for being there for us!
May 21, 2025 · Ann PowersThis was a top notch experience for me and my pup, Oliver. He was sick and I was so worried! They were so attentive and comforting and I got to be more involved in the process than I have ever been with other hospital/emergency visits. Thanks so much to the whole VEG team! I highly recommend them.
Jul 03, 2025 · Arin PrestonI can’t give enough praise for the team that cared for my fur baby, Rocco. They are compassionate, well organized, great communicators, and I can tell that everyone truly has a passion for what they do. I also love the open concept of the facility. It made the environment cozy and gave an element of trustworthiness that sometimes hard to get in the normal veterinarian office. Unfortunately, my fur baby had to spend the night and they were so gracious to give us a private room so I could be there to comfort him instead of spending the night alone in a kennel all scared. If you’re ever in need of emergency care for your beloved pet, I highly recommend VEG.
May 04, 2025 · Pennie CrosslinEveryone at VEG was amazing in caring for our golden retriever when she had a post surgery complication. Dr. Henderson and Dr. Osekavage were incredibly kind and patient. The rest of the staff made Winnie feel so comfortable during an overnight stay at their hospital. They were quick, efficient, and very thorough in their treatment! The open concept floor plan made us feel like we were always being taken care of and never left in the dark!
Mar 26, 2025 · Emory HeffronVEG went above and beyond to take the best care of my dog, Caesar. Everyone was very friendly, thorough, and upfront about every detail. The Dr. was a clear communicator and made sure I was aware and comfortable with every step. Her diagnosis and recommendation had my pup feeling better in a few days and they even called to check up on him!
