Metuchen Veterinary Hospital Reviews
The staff are very sweet and my dog and I were very comfortable with the vet. I’m a first time dog owner with a two year old cockapoo. Our previous vet shamed me for not wanting to spay her and give certain vaccinations. The vet here assured me that spaying her is not necessary and we set up a schedule to do minimal vaccinations that I felt comfortable with. He also gave us a recipe to start her on a real food diet which the previous vet told me to only feed dry kibble which I felt wasn’t healthy. Overall, I am very happy to have found them and feel my dog is in the best of hands! I just wish I found them sooner. Prices are reasonable, no upselling
Aug 14, 2024 · Erin CollinsThe staff and vets are great. I brought in 3 kittens and they had checked them out and given great advice. Also, they are not crazy expensive for office visits. Don't go to places like banfield. There you won't get the same vet twice almost always and they will try to sell you in to things you don't need. The staff at Metuchen Vet were straight forward and honest and didn't blow smoke up my you know what.
Jan 13, 2020 · Joe SDr. Rogan is such an experienced and caring veterinary doctor. The staff there are friendly. They are very helpful in giving suggestions over the phone. We love this hospital and highly recommend to bring the furry ones here
Apr 12, 2024 · Tianjiao YunI brought my ferret, Missy, here with no idea what was going on with her. She was lethargic and withering away. I came to the Metuchen Vet Hospital not knowing what to expect. When I got there, the staff was immediately welcoming and kind. They were attentive and asked a bunch of questions about her condition. During the exam, I cannot tell you how sweet and gentle they were with her. She got spooked and had an accident and the assistant was so sweet and ran to grab something to clean it and her up. After some poking and prodding, the doctor gave my little one a diagnosis. He had to give her a shot there, and I was sent home with several meds. I came back 2 weeks later and she was a little better. She got another injection and the doctor told me she would get one more and be good with that. So, for another 2 weeks, we continued with the meds. When I tell you, in that second week, that she was almost back to her normal self...I was so relieved! I brought her back today for the final injection and they took me right away and saw the change in her. She got her last injection, and I was given instructions on continued care (as her disease is permanent, but manageable). I almost cried because I was so happy that she was doing better and that the vet (Dr. Boaz) was so spot on with her diagnosis and treatment. His support staff is wonderful too. Always so wonderfully friendly, kind, and accommodating. I can’t recommend them enough. I was so worried and scared for my baby and she did so well with them in the examinations and is doing so much better now. If you have a pet in need of medical attention, do yourself a favor and go to this clinic.
Sep 13, 2020 · Jennifer SimonettiI only give them 2 stars. One for the morning receptionist who was kind and helpful and the other star for the vet tech who's voice and sweetness reassured me that my pet was in good hands . I had went there months ago to check prices and set an appointment to get my pet neutered but first they have to do a first visit check up and charge you almost $300.00. after that , I was charged close to $400.00 for the neutering with additional fees and a collar my cat will not use. I recommend not to use this place. They give you a price, change it and charge you alot more after the surgery is done. Not trustworthy at all
