What is Worth Choosing Mobile Veterinary Practice?
Choosing a veterinarian is a personal decision, and while the vast majority of online feedback is overwhelmingly positive, with multiple clients praising the compassionate staff, affordability, and knowledge, it's also important for pet owners to feel empowered in their healthcare decisions. A diverse range of customer experiences and opinions is a normal part of any service business. While one client had an excellent experience with their cat’s dental appointment and praised the vet for being “one of the kindest,” another had a very different and unfortunately negative experience related to a missed diagnosis. This highlights a crucial takeaway: while the clinic is committed to providing a high level of care, the best approach for any pet owner is to be an active participant in their pet's health journey.
For many in the community, the professionalism, friendliness, and reasonable pricing make Mobile Veterinary Practice a top choice. They have a reputation for being a reliable, family-run practice that genuinely cares about its clients. Their ability to handle a wide range of needs, from routine check-ups to soft tissue surgery, makes them a versatile partner in pet health. For those seeking compassionate, affordable, and comprehensive care in the Wisconsin Rapids area, Mobile Veterinary Practice offers a professional and caring environment where a pet's well-being is the top priority.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We drove about 40 minutes to get to the vet because we’ve heard really good things and I have to say we were not at all disappointed. We brought our girls in because they have some dental issues and mainly just wanted to get established and get a quote. Doctor Dan was one of the kindest veterinarians that I’ve ever met. He made us feel welcome. He gave us some great advice on some things we can do in the meantime until our cats get their dental appointments. It’s a stressful time for our furbabies and he did a fabulous job with them. As of now I would recommend them to anyone! Plus we got to stop at chips hamburgers while we were in rapids, so added bonus. ;)
July 29 · K. BonsI felt really confident in the vet's knowledge and it ended up being my biggest regret. The vet looked at a mass on my cat for less than a minute and felt that it was not a huge concern. He explained that if we restricted access, it should heal and we could look at removing down the road or if at all. He didn't want to push surgery due to her age and because of the characteristics of the mass.Well the mass never healed and surgery was booked too far out. Turns out the mass wasn't harmless. It was cancer and it ended up rupturing and my cat suffered. The emergency vet we worked with shook his head in disbelief that any vet would not have immediately removed the mass and check for cancer because had he done that, my cat wouldn't have had to suffer. We could have tried treatment or put her down before it got to pain. The emergency vet said the cancer my cat had was one of the most common and easily identified by every symptom and detail I gave him (which I also gave to this vet). He said she was a textbook case. Please seek second opinions. I'm sure the vet meant well, but he gave my family false hope that our cat was fine and that we didn't need to worry. It hurts to know my cat was suffering because I blindly trust this vet office. Never again.EDIT TO RESPONSE - No...you are not passing the blame on me. I will already live with the guilt of not pushing for surgery. The vet did offer me choices BUT he told me he wasn't concerned about the mass. When I chose to let the mass heal it was because the vet reassured me he wasn't concerned. I'm not trained to be a vet, so when a vet tells me that he isn't concerned, of course I am going to trust his professional judgement. Again, I said I'm sure he meant well, but I also feel like your response is absolutely insensitive and insult to injury.
June 02 · Taylor GawlikThis is the best veterinary practice that I have ever taken my dogs to. Dr. Dan and all his associates are the nicest, kindest people I’ve ever dealt with. I always feel like my pets are not only given top-notch care but compassionate care also. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
March 23 · Laura WestenkirchnerDr Dan is amazing. Recently my kitty broke his leg. Dr Dan was so sweet caring and understanding when it came to the care and treatment of my boy. He understood that I wanted to do everything possible to keep my kitties leg and he did everything in his power to make sure that could happen. Thankfully we are on the road to mending his leg. Only 2 more weeks in a cast!
October 30 · Stacy CoulthurstDr Dan is a saint amongst men. he holds more compassion for your pet then you could possibly imagine. we traveled from Oregon and had a Christmas pet emergency. Dr Dan was able to squeeze us in even though he was well overbooked from the holiday closure. he is way too affordable considering the superb quality of care that he offers for your pet. I can't recommend him enough
