Mt. Carmel Animal Hospital Reviews
Top of the line doctors, techs and equipment. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my fur babies. Dr. Morsberger goes above and beyond. We are so grateful for the caring people here.
Feb 09, 2025 · Rosemary DiehlWe take all 4 of our kitties here and usually have an ok experience, however this time was concerning. Took one of our cats with a curled nail for a nail trim because we were worried about cutting improperly and hurting him. When they brought him back he was visibly freaked out and shaking. The technician began explaining that we will need to bring him in regularly to keep the claw in check. When I took a look at the nail it was covered in medical powder. I asked if they cut too far. She said yes, Dr.Hoover cut too far and it was bleeding so they put the powder on and he's fine. The whole reason we brought him in is to avoid this happening. Mistakes happen, but it didn't even seem like they were planning on telling us. This feels like a big abuse of our trust. The technician seemed offended by our concern. Makes me wonder if other mistakes have happened to our other kitties in the past without our knowledge. The lack of empathy and accountability is really upsetting.
Apr 19, 2025 · TaniaAs with any interaction between pet and vet, personality matters. All the staff and doctors are professional and caring, but not all are equally comfortable with my rather anxious herding breed dog. When we found Dr. Howard, we found someone with a true gift, not only to diagnose and treat, but to understand how to work with my boy to keep the visits low stress and positive, and to allow him to enjoy a life that would otherwise be severely curtailed by his overheating disorder. Thanks to her diligence and creativity my boy is able to both be safe, and to enjoy the active lifestyle he needs to be happy. Thank You!
Aug 21, 2024 · FiremistFarmI can’t say enough, how wonderful the staff and Doctors were to our Phoenix from first diagnosis to end of life, they were amazing to him and us. They are above and beyond animal lovers. Their care and compassion is unsurpassed.
Feb 12, 2025 · Jessica HagenHarley and I just went to Mount Carmel. Harley is my 12-year-old hound mix and he was in very good hands. We went for his annual vaccinations, a strange bump, and recent limp. Madie and Dr. Howard were AMAZING! They explained everything, offered a package deal for his tests, which saved me money, and had a fantastic, kind and caring way about them. Harley is a rescue and is usually spooked by any new environment, they both made him feel at ease. Really glad I found Mount Carmel as I had been to 2 other vets in this area and wasn’t impressed. Thanks for taking great care of my BFF!!! ❤️
