Harford Mobile Veterinary Services & K9 Spine Introduce
For pet owners across Maryland, the health and happiness of our animal companions are always paramount. We strive to provide the best possible care, but traditional veterinary visits can sometimes be stressful for both pets and their humans. Imagine a veterinary service that brings expert care directly to your doorstep, offering not just routine medical attention but also specialized treatments like chiropractic care for your beloved animals. This is precisely what Harford Mobile Veterinary Services & K9 Spine offers to the Maryland community. This overview aims to introduce you to their unique approach, comprehensive services, and the compassionate team that makes them an invaluable resource for local pet owners.
Harford Mobile Veterinary Services & K9 Spine, led by Dr. Patrick Maizels and Veterinary Chiropractor Patty Maizels C.V.C.P., redefines convenience and comfort in pet healthcare. Their philosophy centers on providing high-quality veterinary services in the familiar, stress-free environment of your own home. This mobile model is particularly beneficial for animals who experience anxiety during car rides or clinic visits, elderly pets with mobility issues, or simply for busy families who appreciate the added convenience. Beyond general veterinary care, their specialized focus on K9 spine and chiropractic services sets them apart, addressing musculoskeletal health to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance the overall quality of life for your pets.
Animal chiropractic care, often used in conjunction with traditional veterinary medicine, focuses on correcting abnormalities in the alignment of a pet's musculoskeletal system, particularly the spine. These adjustments can relieve pressure on nerves, improve joint range of motion, and optimize the nervous system's function. For aging dogs, athletic animals, or pets recovering from injuries, chiropractic adjustments can significantly improve comfort and mobility. The testimonials from clients highlight the profound impact this specialized care can have, turning struggling pets into happier, more active companions.
Choosing a veterinary provider is a deeply personal decision, and finding a team that truly cares for your animals "like family" is a treasure. Harford Mobile Veterinary Services & K9 Spine aims to be that trusted partner for Maryland residents, offering a blend of professional expertise, advanced holistic treatments, and heartfelt compassion. This article will explore their services, how they operate, and why they are such a suitable choice for local pet owners seeking exceptional and convenient care for their cherished animal family members.
Harford Mobile Veterinary Services & K9 Spine is based out of 6 Bens Ct, Parkton, MD 21120, USA. However, the key aspect of their location and accessibility is their mobile service model. They bring veterinary care directly to your home, serving animals in the Harford, Baltimore, Carroll, and Cecil County areas of Maryland, and even expanding to Southern PA along the Mason Dixon line as of May 1, 2022.
This mobile nature is a massive advantage for pet owners. Instead of having to transport your pet to a physical clinic, enduring potentially stressful car rides or waiting room anxieties, the veterinary team comes to you. This is especially beneficial for:
- Pets with anxiety or fear of vet clinics.
- Elderly pets or those with mobility challenges who find travel difficult.
- Households with multiple pets, simplifying appointments for all animals at once.
- Owners with limited transportation or busy schedules.
The core of their accessibility is not a fixed building, but rather the personalized service that arrives at your convenience. They operate by appointment, typically from Sunday to Friday, between 11 AM and 6 PM. While they have a physical address for their base, their "clinic" is essentially wherever your pet is most comfortable – your home. This unparalleled convenience ensures that Maryland pet owners can provide consistent, stress-free veterinary care, making it simpler to address both routine wellness needs and specific health concerns without the logistical hurdles of a traditional clinic visit. This model truly prioritizes the comfort and well-being of the animal, fostering a more relaxed and effective veterinary experience.

Harford Mobile Veterinary Services & K9 Spine Reviews
We have a lot of animals for a typical home. And this vet service has been essential for us. They’ve helped keep our aging dogs happy and healthier than I could have ever imagined. They were incredible when we had to euthanize our 16 year old Aussie, and now that our other two are old—13 and 18–they’re here for us whenever we need them. They came to visit our new puppies just to say hi. I’ve never met nicer people, more caring and knowledgeable people, and it’s clear they will do anything for these animals. They’re worth every penny. Especially because of the added family touch. They make you and your animal feel like family . I love these two, and we will continue seeing them for the rest of our pet’s lives. Thank you both for taking such great care of our babies!
Jun 13, 2025 · Kristina HarmanWe want to thank Dr. Maizels and his wife for their immediate response to have our beloved dog Linus euthanized on very short notice. The care and compassion they shared for Linus and us meant so much during such a difficult time. I wish I had known about them prior to this day as they truly are the team I would have wanted to help my fur babies throughout their lives. Thank you both so very much. ❤️🌈
Jun 30, 2025 · Jodi BaylissMy dog, Pyper stopped walking a few days after receiving Librela for arthritis pain which she was receiving for one year. Dr. Maizels and his wife helped Pyper walk again. The Maizels are very knowledgeable and will quickly help your dog (if possible/your dog is able to respond to the treatments). I would recommend using their services vs medications that just make your dog sick/pass away. I regret not using their services sooner because my dog went through some unnecessary suffering due to Librela and we thought we were going to lose her. I work in the medical field and did some research on possibly reversing the adverse effects of Librela. Pyper received one laser treatment, one spinal adjustment and a Dexamethasone injection to help combat the adverse reaction from Librela. Pyper was constipated, lost her appetite, drinking excessively, urinating excessively and could not stand up or walk on her own. We will continue to use their services as long as Pyper continues to respond in a positive manner.
Jun 09, 2025 · Chrissy BHarford Mobile vet is the best around! We have been with Dr Pat and Nurse Patty for over 12 years now for our 5 pups. They are more holistic which we love. Our pups love them. We know 100% we can trust them with our pups care.
May 24, 2025 · Mr Clean Power WashingThis wonderful veterinary service made a difficult time much easier for us and our elderly dog. The scheduling and communication was excellent and prompt. Dr. Maizels was extremely caring and considerate of our pet's needs...as well as ours. Trigger, our nearly 15 year old Lab was suddenly unable to get up without help and the tumor on his belly began bleeding causing sepsis. He needed to be euthanized, but we had no way of transporting him to his regular vet because he couldn't get into our vehicle and was too heavy to lift. We were ever so thankful to learn of the Maizels' work through our neighbor. This veterinarian service is much needed in our community and we can't thank them enough helping Trigger peacefully cross the rainbow bridge.
