Jarrettsville Veterinary Center Reviews
Visited on a Sunday for an urgent abdominal x-ray on my 10 year old Rottweiler after my vet found a large mass on her spleen during an exam. My regular vet was out sick the next day (when blood work came back) and was not available to do the x-ray. Jarrettsville Vet did several X-rays and an ultrasound and gave me the information I needed to make the best decision for my pup. Staff was very empathetic.
May 14, 2025 · Dawn RexrodeWe have been coming to JVC since the late 70s with first our cats and then later our dogs. Dr. Wilson was on call on Sunday when our cat blocked. Even though we have to travel 45 min, we have been coming ever since. Hubby and I are now on dogs 6 and 7 but this fantastic staff has cared for all of them. You've been there when the animals were at the end of life and helped us through it. We usually see Dr. Graf but we've seen most over the years. We have been the emergency case at times so we do NOT mind waiting if someone else is having an emergency. Your whole staff is amazing and continues to do the right thing. You all have such big hearts and we love what you do. We love you all. Hugs from us and our boys Kody and Ty.
Jun 05, 2025 · Karen FrancisI booked an appointment with Jarrettsville Vet to get a second opinion on My handsome man Romeo's health condition. Dr. Magnifico seen him. She was straight to the point and not only shown compassion but was very informative on his condition. I felt the compassion not only from her but from the whole staff when I walked through the door. $437 was very reasonable for everything they done for us, from vaccines to a Cytopoint shot for allergies. They tried his nails, cleaned his ears, expressed his anal glands plus found a grade 1 heart murmur. Gave him antibiotics plus a medicated shampoo. Done blood work! My boy is well on track to getting healthy again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. After his surgery is all done I'm definitely bringing in my 11 year old boxer Bella for a check up. I definitely feel at home with this practice
Jun 26, 2025 · Denise WinglerI love Jarrettsville vet! All the doctors are so kind and you can tell they care for every animal like their own. Their pricing is pretty affordable, my other vet was literally double what Jarrettsville charges! I've had a couple emergencies with my cats and they have always been able to fit me in same day!
Apr 02, 2025 · Madeleine BeckerI am so thankful to Dr Magnifico ! I had an emergency with my unicorn dog Hazel. Hazel ate a mouse nest which contained fiberglass insulation. My previous vets office would not see Hazel and offered me no suggestions for financing help ( I expected compassion and didn’t even get to speak with my vet only a dismissive receptionist) who quoted roughly 500 for Xray , X-ray reading and emergency appointment the following day. Jarrettsville made Hazel a priority and gave her asame day appointment despite being booked, ( two appointments X-ray, bloodwork and fluids for 340. Hazel seems better today and it is good to know that Jarretsville vet will help me through a crisis.
