- Quality of Life Assessment & Hospice Care: For pets with terminal illnesses or chronic conditions, the team provides thorough assessments to help owners understand their pet's current quality of life and create personalized hospice care plans. These plans focus on pain management, comfort measures, nutritional support, and maintaining dignity to ensure the pet has as many "good days" as possible.
- Aftercare & Crematory Assistance: Nevada Pet Hospice offers comprehensive aftercare options to help families honor their pet's memory. This includes:
- Aquamation (Water Cremation): A gentle and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fire cremation, offering a dignified way to return ashes to the family.

- Consultations: The veterinarians provide compassionate consultations, guiding pet owners through difficult decisions about their pet's health, quality of life, and the euthanasia process. They patiently explain every step and answer all questions.

- Patient-Centered, Peaceful Process: Reviewers consistently highlight how relaxed and unstressed their pets were during the euthanasia process. Doctors wait until the pet is comfortable and ready, ensuring a gentle and peaceful transition, often in the pet's favorite spot.
- In-Home Service Focus: The ability to provide in-home euthanasia is a major highlight, allowing pets to pass surrounded by love and familiarity, which significantly reduces the trauma associated with a clinic visit for their final moments.
- Exceptional Client Support and Communication: The staff, including Dr. Nunez and Dr. Christina, are praised for explaining everything in detail, patiently answering questions, and offering support that makes the experience "so easy." Samantha is also mentioned for her support, indicating a strong team effort in client care.
- Dedication Beyond Standard Hours: The willingness of Dr. Christina to return after hours and on her "off the clock" time when a pet rapidly declined showcases an extraordinary level of dedication and genuine concern for both the pet and the grieving family. This commitment is deeply appreciated and unforgettable for clients.
- Dignified Aftercare Options: Offering options like Aquamation, a gentle water cremation, provides families with a respectful and environmentally conscious way to handle their pet's remains, allowing for a dignified final tribute.

Nevada Pet Hospice Reviews
Dr. Carolina Nunez was absolutely wonderful! She was very patient, empathetic and caring. She explained everything in detail and gave us extra vials of fur.We took our girl outside in the sunlight so she could enjoy the outdoors and warmth of the sun one last time. She got up and began walking around. Dr. Nunez waited until she sat down in the shade letting us know she's ready.Dr. Nunez is amazing. She made the experience so easy. Our girl was so relaxed and not stressed out at all. I definitely recommend her if you have a fur baby who's ready to move on.
May 24, 2025 · Nate and AmandaI cannot say enough about NV Pet Hospice! There just aren’t enough words to express my gratitude for Samantha & Dr. Christina. The doctor was truly amazing and compassionate at the worst time in our lives. I had an asked if anyone could come in the evening because my husband wasn’t home yet - and she was really his dog. They’d been together for 12 years. Dr. Christina agreed but I had to cancel because he wasn’t ready, so I did. 2hrs later after our beautiful girl rapidly declined I called them back to see if she could still come — although she was off the clock, Dr. Christina agreed to come over and was there in 30 minutes. She was sweet, compassionate and caring and explained every step of the process. She treated our girl with love and respect in her final moments. and for that I will be eternally grateful.
Apr 20, 2025 · Jessica TitusIf you are looking for care, compassion and a calming presence you’ve come to the right place. Dr. Toby Goldman was so gracious, you could tell he really cared about taking care of our boy and us. He explained everything beforehand so there were no surprises and allowed us to take time to say goodby. I can’t thank him enough for getting us through that day.
Apr 16, 2025 · Brenda HillIf I could give more than five stars, I would. I am pretty sure the vet that came to aid in our furry family member Zues end of life was a real life angel. Alyssa Watson has an angelic presence without a doubt. Usually, Zeus really dislikes meeting strangers. Especially if they are in his house. When she first walked in, he made an effort to get up and bark. But she walked over to him as if she had known him all of his life, sank down on her knees and gave him love, and he immediately was at ease. I was shocked. The entire process could not have been more beautiful or more personal. Zeus's end of life could not have been any better for him. She has a magical way of dealing with animals and grieving people. At such a very difficult moment, this is a gift. I can not recommend this place highly enough, or Alyssa highly enough. Thank you Alyssa and Nevada Pet Hospice!
Dec 17, 2024 · Erica GilAll I have to say is that these people are a one the best I’ve ever dealt with the most compassionate and sensitive, and I’m so grateful that they were able to help me when I needed it for my dog. I would use them every time. The gentleman that was at my house was by four of the kindest gentlemen I didn’t see much to them and I felt sorry that I was kind of in office. I was just really hurting a lot, but I thank you for all your compassion that you showed to Kabar.
