My wife Scenic brought her in for a routine check-up and to get a few welts on her back looked at and from start to finish, the team was gentle, thorough, and incredibly kind.It’s never easy trusting someone with your fur baby, but Athena was in the best hands. They treated her like family and made her feel safe (and honestly, a little spoiled too 🐶💛). Dr. Connolly and the staff at New Day on University are the absolute best. They offer holistic care that is supremely kind. My boy actually wants to see his vet and when he’s under the weather they protect his friends inside by putting him in car quarantine 😂 and loading him up on immune boosting goodies not just antibiotics. 😍

Our dog has reactivity issues and taking her to the vet has always been an ordeal. Dr. Connolly and her staff were wonderful about allowing us to participate in her care and take steps to make sure that everyone stayed safe while our dog got the care she needed. They were also more than accommodating to us when we asked for a Telehealth visit for a complaint to keep things as low drama as possible. Dr Connolly was very direct and to the point with us, which is something we appreciated. She was very well versed in medication for behavior modification and kept things realistic for us which we have always appreciated. We really will miss having her as our vet after the move!

I’ve been dealing with NewDay vet clinic since 2022 and I’ve never had a bad experience unto today. I have their wellness plan on both of my dogs. Last year I got a new wellness plan for my puppy and instead of letting the rescue that I got her from spay her I wanted NewDay to do it because I liked the way they treated my other dog. During her first visit I was told by the veterinarian that her spay surgery would be covered by the puppy plan. After that visit as time went by I had talking to different people within the clinic about the situation and I was always told that they needed to talk to the manager because the plan had changed and the surgery was no longer covered. No one never got back with me and today my baby had to go in to do the bloodwork for the surgery scheduled for next month. But, to make a long story short, the manager came into the exam room and said that he was getting 2 different stories because the veterinarian said that she never said that. It made me feel so bad because it made it look like I was lying. I felt so bad until tears started running down my face. My experience with them today was not a good one. So I advise anyone to always get things in writing because they only made notes about the chip and not about the wellness plan covering the surgery.

I had a very disappointing experience with the veterinary services here. Initially, I had an appointment scheduled for 4:30, but I was called and told there were multiple cancellations, and they had earlier openings. I arrived around 1:20, only to be told I would need to come back at 2:30 because they were in meetings. I understood that, so no issue there.When I returned at 2:30, I was told to wait in a different area because they needed to keep the exam rooms open for others. Again, not ideal, but I was fine with it. Then, when I told them I wanted to put my dog on a wellness plan, they quickly processed the paperwork and swiped my card, which was great at first.However, after that, I was left waiting for over 30 minutes with no updates. The staff was chatting and laughing in the back, clearly engaging in good customer service with others, but I was just left in this room on the other side of the building with no word on what was happening. After waiting long enough, I stepped out to ask if I needed to reschedule, and that’s when I was told there were two emergencies. While I understand emergencies happen, it would’ve been nice to be informed rather than left wondering. It would’ve been even nicer to experience the level of customer service others were receiving but I digress.What really set the tone, though, was the female nurse’s rude behavior. Her attitude, tone, and body language were unprofessional and unsettling. When she went to talk to the doctor, it was the same one who had checked us in earlier, and he was fine—apologetic and kind. However, the nurse’s behavior was so off-putting that I decided to cancel the wellness plan and let them know I wouldn't be continuing care at this clinic. She was absolutely rude and disrespectful.Overall, I cannot trust a place with my dog when the staff treats me so poorly. Customer service is crucial, especially in the veterinary field, and I didn’t feel respected or valued here. What should have been a simple visit turned into a stressful experience, and I won’t be returning.
