What can I say San Marco Animal Hospital if I could give you a 10 star review I would. This place is small but mighty. The doctor the nurses and even receptionist have all been wonderful.My first encounter with them was when I had an emergency with one of my other dogs. I called all around and no one could take me. They all said take him to the emergency vet. I called them and they said bring him in right away.

The staff here is nice—I’ll give them that. But their pricing and approach to care feel incredibly exploitative.I brought my senior cat in when she wasn’t feeling well, and they diagnosed her with kidney disease. The first visit alone cost over $700 for a blood test, an antibiotic, and a SubQ fluid bag with needles and a line. They charge $100 just for the fluid bag kit—an outrageous price. Two weeks later, I brought her back for a check-up, and that visit was another $500 for the appointment, more antibiotics, and another fluid kit. Then, they wanted to see her again two weeks later?At that point, I sought a second opinion. The new vet did a full panel blood test and senior assessment for $232—a fraction of what San Marco Animal Hospital charged me. The same fluid bag kit? Only $25. On top of that, the new vet actually explained my cat’s bloodwork in detail, something San Marco never did in a way I could understand.I will never take any of my pets here again. Their pricing is absurd, and it feels like they prioritize profit over care.

I have been using San Marco for several years now. Im a local breeder and San Marco has went above and beyond treating my adults as well as our puppies. Dr Raj and his staff have given nothing but exceptional care for our dogs. Their prices are affordable, and they always can get the pups right in for an appointment. I highly recommend this practice to anyone needing healthcare for their animal. Thank you San Marco for always being there when I need y’all. much love ❤️

I brought my cat here who was suddenly in alot of pain and had a hard time walking. The woman vet was very cold, short, and was very annoyed with answering our questions after she had told us that our cat most likely had a broken pelvis, cancer, and diabetes $1300 later.I ended up taking her to our normal vet who is amazing and unfortunately was extremely booked at the time of our cats emergency... for them to tell us that all our cat had was a simple sprain in her leg.I was balling my eyes out for over 24 hours thinking my cat had a broken pelvis, cancer and diabetes.Please don't tell people awful news unless you are VERY sure it's the truth.

Historically, San Marco Animal Hospital has always come in clutch for our family when we have needed them. My experience has been that it is easy to get an appointment to be seen; even same day appointments. The whole staff from the receptionist, vet tech, and Dr. Raj are always very personable and professional. Dr. Raj has cared for 3 of our 4 dogs over the years. When we came in this most recent time, he even asked us about the two previous dogs that he cared for in past years. He possesses a level and type of bedside manner that is not as common these days. He is pragmatic, but also handles situations and conveys information with the appropriate amount of sensitivity. We are so grateful for this practice and the way that they genuinely care for our animals, who are our loved ones.
