Crossroads Animal Clinic Reviews
I've brought my dog Rapunzel here and when I do bring her I hear the techs and the doctors get so excited just about her presence in the back while I'm in the exam room. All of the employees I've met with have been great and really patient with her, even though she's insane and likes to surprise strangers with hugs. They make sure to tell her she's a good girl when they give her shots and they explained everything to me in a way I could understand. She was having a lot of trouble gaining weight, and the first food the vet recommended helped her gain ten pounds and get her to a healthy weight. I love this vet and I don't see myself bringing her anywhere else
September 07 · Sadie AtkinsonHORRIBLE! I had only been in Waco 1 week and my 13yo yorkie took a turn for the worse. On referral, I took him in for help w/end of life decision. The receptionist seemed to feel my pain, she went to speak w/Vet and told me "they don't take walk in's", then gave me a referral as my dog lay dying in my arms. I was hurt at the lack of compassion from a Vet 😞. So I guess I can say.."I wouldn't take a dying dog there", literally!
December 14 · Jacqueline LittleThis Clinic has wonderful presence when you walk through the door great customer service, knowledgeable veterinarians and it's always a pleasure when you walk into any professional place and feel good about their services when you leave.
October 05 · Linda GrayThey have taken care of my Jager Kitty so well. He's almost 15 and the amount of care and love they give him is unmatched. If it wasn't for their care I don't think he would be the age he is now with the spunk of a kitten. Thank you all for what you. If I could give more that 5 stars I would.
February 07 · Katrin BridgewaterMy wife made an appointment with Crossroads for our English Bull Terrier to receive a rabies vaccine, have his nails and pads trimmed, and receive an evaluation on having his teeth cleaned at a later date. After having my dog weighed I was asked to wait in an exam room with my dog. A young lady came into the exam room and introduced herself as a nurse. She then said she understood my dog was there for a rabies vaccine and I said that wasn’t all he was there for. She said, oh and to have his nails trimmed. I said is that all you have? She said yes is there something else? I told her he also needs his pads trimmed and he needs to be sedated for his nail and pad trimming. She said that would be up to the vet to decide. This is not the first, or second time we have had our dogs nails or pads trimmed at this clinic. I started to get worried about what kind of care my dog was going to get considering the lack of communication between the person who took the appointment and the people who were going to be treating my dog. When my wife made the appointment she was told how much the service would cost. Question: if the “nurse “ didn’t know what services were to be provided how would they know how much it would cost?”. Long story short… I would recommend you not take your family members to this veterinary clinic. I would recommend getting a referral from someone you trust. These people evidently have more business than they can handle and don’t care for you coming to see them or not.
