The Wrightstown Veterinary Clinic distinguishes itself through several key features that resonate strongly with the Wisconsin pet community, focusing on medical capability and compassionate client service.
The major highlights and areas of specialization include:
- High-Level Surgical and Diagnostic Capability: Unlike smaller clinics, the designation as an Animal Hospital signifies advanced equipment and expertise for performing Major Surgeries, Soft Tissue And Orthopedic Surgery, and offering in-house diagnostics like Ultrasound Examinations and ECG Services. This capability means pets rarely need to be referred elsewhere for serious medical issues.
- Compassionate End-of-Life Care: Client testimonials strongly emphasize the exceptional kindness and compassion shown by Dr. Kelly and the Tech team during the difficult process of putting a beloved dog "Cheese" down. This commitment to making the pet and family comfortable during their final moments is a profound testament to their values.
- Dedicated Pain Management: With a specific focus on Pain Managment, the clinic ensures pets suffering from injury, post-operative recovery, or chronic conditions (like arthritis) receive tailored care to maintain their quality of life.
- Vetsource Home Delivery Integration: The convenience of Vetsource Home Delivery for prescriptions and nutritional items ensures that pet owners in the surrounding Wisconsin areas can easily manage their pet's ongoing medical needs without constant trips to the clinic.
- Focus on New Pets: Offering a specialized Kitten Package shows a dedication to providing the essential early-life care needed to start young pets on a foundation of optimal health.
While the clinic is an outstanding medical facility, it is important to note the mixed feedback regarding administrative efficiency and communication timeliness, as noted in previous long-term client experiences. However, the consistent positive commentary on the professionalism and compassionate clinical care delivered by the veterinary staff, especially Dr. Kelly, indicates a strong focus on the patient-facing side of their practice.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- I have debated leaving a review as we had been bringing all of our dogs here for 20 years. My parents also brought their cats and dogs here as well. The patient facing care we received the last few years was absolutely terrible. Not answering calls and not returning calls in a timely manner. When we would get an answer, mist of the time it was a simple text. Our dog went was diagnosed with anal gland cancer and cancer in a lymph node. We had to wait for almost a week to get results back on an ionized calcium test. We were so upset by this that we went to Vet Health Imaging and Countryside Vets in Appleton. Both places were absolutely amazing and within a few days we were in Madison at Madison Veterinary Specialists. The admitting doctor could not belive that his anal gland cancer wasn't detected during his routine physicals. They performed the surgery the next day and he is still cancer free. We do routine ionized calcium tests through them and we have results in 2 days! All this to say we felt extremely let down by the service and treatment we received in Wrightstown and immediately moved over to Countryside. - We had to unfortunately put our doggy down, and the Tech and Dr. Kelly, was absolutely amazing, kind, compassionate, we cant thank you enough for making cheese comfortable as well as the family, thank you again for the exceptional care you showed cheese. August 07 · Brenda Schisel
- Dr. Kelly is absolutely a wonderful veterinarian. All of the staff members are kind and compassionate animal lovers. I feel their cost are in line with or superior to area standards. The facility is clean and well organized. I am very happy to have Wrightstown Veterinary Clinic handle my animals' health care needs! August 02 · Matthew Bailey
- So I'll say this, our dogs are low maintenance hunting dogs, but money is no object.Weve been a customer at least 11 yrs, 4 dogs, many visits, and attempting to establish a long term relationship with this facility.Initial visits, first 8 yrs, were pheonominal. Kelly was our vet, very knowledgable and personal. She started taking on a more back door role and unfortunately thats where things started to go downhill. Service has always been prompt, I'm a straight to the point kind of person and thats what you'll get here.Recently picked up a new pup, generally needed to get booster shots scheduled as breeder stated we should look at boosters in next 2-3 weeks. Make the call to Wrightstown to get her started, no problem like last 3 youd expect. Well not so much. Was told by the front office attempting to schedule that we needed to take the new pup, and our existing dog in their "lifetime" shots program to any other clinic in the area as they were not interested in our business any longer. Ive never interfaced with this person in the past, but, if you dont have time for this pup, no problem when in the current situation, theres too many pets not enough vets. I never expected to be sent away from a team that I had grown to trust and respect with my dogs lives.Very frustrated is the best way to state the disappointment in this new mentality of the facility. I wish all owners the best with this facility but believe Im in search of a new care provider. September 25 · JB Dekes
- They are not good with customer service as a company. The manager never returns calls. and the dr wants to drug my pup to give him proper care when he does not need Drudged and charge crazy money every time. They do not care about taking care of pets just any way they can get extra money from you. January 08 · Crystal Rhodes
