★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I am a Hunter/Jumper Trainer in Dripping Springs and have worked with many of the Austin Equine team for going on a decade now, and absolutely love them! They have been there for us in Emergencies, Colic Surgeries, Tricky Dental work, Successful Repro, and so much more! They are very professional and great at what they do! Pics of successful 2025 baby thanks to AE!
June 24 · Westridge FarmsDr. Joyce, Dr. Holloman & staff were better than 5 ⭐️s! They were able to see our horse in an emergency situation & knew immediately what was happening. They kept him for a few nights, & not once did I have to call to check on our Booger. Every morning at 8AM I received a picture of our horse & an update on his condition. They loved him just like he was their own! When discharged they gave me a “goodie bag” of items needed to complete his healing at home with detailed notes. I highly recommend this clinic for all your horses’ needs. Thanks for making our Boogie 😉 better! #TeamCarreon
May 11 · julie carreonSo impressed! Dr. Taylor, Dr. Reybolt and their staff all worked together to reverse a very serious colic in our mini donkey mama. These veterinarians are not only highly trained, but they are also very conscientious and treat owners with as much compassion and sensitivity as they do their equine patients. They were so kind to give us frequent updates and involved us in all the major decisions while our jenny (and her nursing foal) was in ICU. What a blessing it is to have such a top emergency facility in our community!
August 29 · Sherri CarlsonMy letter to Austin Equine Clinic which used to be very good when it was privately owned. Now it's corporate with this result:Dear Jessica Collins,I understand you are the Manager of Austin Equine Clinic. That you manage it remotely. Which could explain a lot of about the content of my letter.I wish to let you know that I was very dismayed with the vet visit yesterday. Olivia has her first horse and this first experience with a vet was disappointing. We will not be using Austin Equine again. I was a long time client. I go back many years when Dr. O'GAN built it up into a worthy horse veterinary Clinic. So I have a standard of comparison.Four people around in a small car 30 minutes late. (Normally a vet and an assistant would come). They did not follow previously given clear directions and drove to the wrong place on the property. We managed to find them and direct them over to the corral. So the whole thing began with a late start and confusion.Four people walked up to the miniature horse and began to discuss that they brought the wrong machine to examine her and not only that, nobody had charged it up so it wasn't running. We the clients managed to get an electrical hookup for them and one of the techs began to sonogram the mare. All of the people involved seemed very young and inexperienced - no doubt for the bottom line. After discussing whether they should shave the mare to get a better picture or not and taking forever to sonogram her they convinced Olivia to do some shots. The bill is high particularly for the service. Olivia is 18. This comes out of her hard-earned money.I am so very disappointed in Austin Equine Clinic which has been an excellent place to go for many years. (But I had heard that it had declined into a bunch of young and experienced vets and techs and yesterday was proof to me.) I would very much like an explanation of this and a reduction in the bill. I don't see why this young lady has to pay for four people's time for this kind of service.L.S.Austin Texas
April 23 · Lin SutherlandI ended up with 5 goats because my wife wanted country living and we had a place for them. We sure didn't know what we were doing. But now I love these creatures and they follow me around all day and are great friends. They are pets and I love them. Dr Eifert and her team take care of them and also me. Throughout a scary birth to a tiny mother we unknowingly bought pregnant and regular care she helps me feel good about the challenge of owning goats. It's not like you can take them to emergency pet care down the road. Her compassion for the animals and also my concerns make me a big fan of her, her team and this place. Thank you Dr Eifert, my herd and I love you.
