Founders Animal Hospital Services
Veterinarian
- Exotic animals
We understand the unique health needs of our smaller pets. This includes birds, ferrets, gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits. Some do require more specialized care. We offer advice and referrals for both birds and our smaller pets to veterinarians that specialize in these little fellows.
- Pet Wellness Exams
Regular Wellness Exams Are Important. Early detection reduces the severity of diseases like kidney disease, arthritis, diabetes, dental disease, obesity, and ear infection.
- Preventive HealthCare
Preventive healthcare involves a multi-faceted approach that includes veterinary evaluation of your pet's overall health and risks of disease or other health problems. Based on the findings, your vet will provide you with recommendations for your pet's nutrition, dental care, vaccinations and more.
- Pet Dental Care
Dental health is very important to your pet’s overall health, and dental problems can cause, or be caused by, other health problems. A physical exam combined with appropriate laboratory work can determine if infection in the mouth has occurred. Schedule your pet’s dental exam today.
- Pet Vaccinations
Vaccinations prevent diseases that can be passed between animals and also from animals to people. Diseases prevalent in wildlife, such as rabies and distemper, can infect unvaccinated pets. In many areas, local or state ordinances require certain vaccinations of household pets.
- Pet Surgery
We provide many surgical services at our clinic, ranging from routine to advanced procedures. Taking all necessary precautions to ensure that your pet receives a safe anesthetic. We perform a physical exam and preanesthetic testing before surgery and monitor your pet during and after surgery.
- Spay and Neuter
Spaying is the removal of the female pet's reproductive organs, while neutering refers to the procedure for male pets. When a female dog is spayed, the vet removes her ovaries and usually her uterus as well. When neutering a dog, both testicles are removed.
- Grooming
A professional grooming session typically consists of the dog being brushed, bathed, and dried, as well as trimmed or clipped with clean, sanitized brushes and clipper blades. Groomers brush or comb out mats before the bath, making it easier to lather the dog with shampoo.
- Miccrochipping
A Microchip ID is a small computer chip, about the size of a grain of rice. It is implanted under the animal's skin, between the shoulder blades. Unlike other forms of identification, a Microchip ID cannot be removed or lost. Very often, pets slip out of their collars or lose tags.
Animal Hospital
- Emergency Veterinary Care
The emergency veterinarian is a specialist that provides medical care to animal patients at animal hospitals and emergency clinics. It's also typical for emergency veterinarians to work with veterinary internal medicine specialists and surgeons at larger veterinary hospitals.
- Soft tissue surgery
Probably the most common soft tissue surgery performed on pets is the removal of masses, or lumps Other soft tissue surgeries include exploratory surgery and gastronomy/enterotomy (incisions made into the stomach or intestine) to remove foreign bodies.
- X-Rays
X-rays are a form of electromagnetic radiation, similar to visible light. Unlike light, however, x-rays have higher energy and can pass through most objects, including the body. Medical x-rays are used to generate images of tissues and structures inside the body.
- Diagnostics
Veterinarians use a variety of veterinary tools to diagnose disease, to monitor disease progression or response to therapy, and to screen for the presence of underlying disease in apparently healthy animals.

Secondly, everyone who works there is very caring and ensures to make the experience as pleasant as possible for my dogs and cats, they treat them like family. It’s always a quick and easy process when we arrive. I truly appreciate how efficient the team is as I have a busy work schedule. And you can tell they genuinely care for your pet. A wonderful experience overall every time!
August 29 · Sheri GDr. Deka has cared for my pets for over fifteen years, and she’s the most compassionate, skilled veterinarian I’ve I’ve ever known. Her new office is beautiful and welcoming-just like her care! Highly recommend Her services!
August 13 · Cheryl PiquardI can’t say enough good things about Founders Ridge. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, compassionate, and clearly dedicated to the well-being of every animal that comes through their doors. The clinic was very organized and clean from outside to inside. Dr. Deka is very knowledgeable and she was super sweet to my dog. She let me know what was going on with my dog and made sure I understood the treatment plan before we walked out those doors. It’s great to know my dog is in good hands.
August 17 · David HerreraThis facility is fantastic! The staff is friendly, professional, and clearly cares about the animals. Dr. Deka took great care of our cat DJ, and made the whole experience easy. She took the time to explain what was going on and answered all of our questions, which really put us at ease.
August 21 · Christie HoffmanWe've been seeing Dr. Deka for years and love her so much that we will drive the 30 minutes to see her at her new clinic. She truly loves animals and has their best interests at heart. She also has us pawrents' best interests at heart, as she's always 100% honest and won't hesitate to tell you if a test or medication is unnecessary. In fact, a "hot" new drug was being peddled by all the reps and media and when we asked about it for our elderly dog, Dr. Deka advised us to wait until more research had been done on long-term effects. Turns out some of the long-term research isn't looking so good, and we're grateful she recommended a safer, more well researched alternative.Stop reading the reviews and schedule an appointment - you'll be glad you did and your furry friends will love her just as much as you will!
