Newtown Veterinary Specialists Reviews
We brought our 13 year old Puggle, Roxie, to Newtown Veterinary Specialists. They were able to book us an appointment to be seen sooner than anywhere else. Roxie saw Dr. Meghan DeLucia in Internal Medicine, after our primary vet diagnosed her with tracheal collapse.Dr. DeLucia and the entire staff were compassionate, professional, and thorough. They conducted additional testing to confirm the diagnosis and ensure that was the area of concern. Dr. DeLucia took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure we fully understood the condition, the test results, and our options moving forward. She gave us plenty of time to ask questions and did not rush.We left the appointment with a clear medical management strategy and peace of mind knowing Roxie is in good hands.Highly recommend Dr. DeLucia and the Newtown Veterinary Specialists team for anyone seeking expert, compassionate care for their pet!
Jun 17, 2025 · Rita SAmazing team here! Our dog had to have major surgery and they were able to get it done in less than 24 hours after her being admitted. When we first left her she did not want to go into the back but before the surgery they let us visit with her and she was happy to go with them this time which truly speaks to how great they are with making your pet feel loved and comfortable even when you’re not there. They are very transparent about what goes on and keeps you informed it has been a really scary couple of days but knowing she was in amazing care those days we weren’t with her truly did help. From the front desk staff to the surgeon and other doctors watching her overnight were so friendly and always welcome us calling to check on her. We are not completely done with our dogs road to recovery yet but I am so happy we found a place that really will go above and beyond to help our baby girl Nala, you would not regret going to them!
May 24, 2025 · Alexis BurkeOn the hottest day at 11:00 PM I was worried about Jane…Normally, you’d wait, worry and hopefully, when your vet opened up, you could have your puppy checked out. Not in Newtown…We have a special veterinary hospital as special as our pets…open 24/7 and with the expertise on staff to address whatever is needed. Thank you for your caring staff and professional level of service…btw, Jane is much better and wagging again!
