Noah's Caring Hands Animal Hospital at Geist Reviews
Caring Hands has come in clutch for our furbabies on several occasions. They are always so polite and helpful. We appreciate their hours and availability.Prices can be higher, but that has its pay offs.My cat particularly liked the exam room with a view :)
Mar 20, 2025 · Amanda WayneThank you for always taking such great care of Elmer and Ernie! All the staff is so kind and loving! We appreciate Noah’s taking such wonderful care of our 11 year old pug boys🥰😍
Feb 11, 2025 · Jay CluckThank you for taking the time to respond. However, your reply unfortunately reflects the broader concern I had with Noah’s—a lack of accountability when errors occur. You mentioned that this was “what I perceived,” but this wasn’t a matter of perception. A vaccine was administered to one of my dogs that I had specifically declined, and I was then asked to pay for it. The tech showed little concern when I brought it up, and it should have raised a flag that the vaccine wasn’t included in the amount that I had prepaid.Your response referenced my September 2024 visit, where no vaccines were given, but didn’t address the earlier appointments—specifically the one where this issue occurred. As I noted, this involved two separate visits for two dogs, and the vet I now use has the vaccine records your clinic provided, confirming that vaccinations were administered in 2024. This makes it clear that this wasn’t a case of confusion or missing documentation. As for why I returned after the issue—it was because I had already paid for the wellness plan, which included emergency services, and I wanted to retain access until the coverage period ended. Following that incident, I also began recording my interactions for clarity and peace of mind.Lastly, I wasn’t sure why my history with Noah’s was mentioned, but yes—I had been a client for about five years, and my mother had used your clinic even longer. That long-standing relationship is part of why this experience was so disappointing.Prior Review:I used to really love Noah’s and even recommended them to friends and family, despite always finding their pricing on the higher side. I initially saw a vet there who later moved to a different clinic. After that, I stayed with another vet within Noah’s, and while the care was generally fine, I felt the value didn’t quite match the cost. It wasn’t enough to make me switch—until last year.I had scheduled two separate appointments for each of my dogs. At the first appointment, I clearly reviewed and confirmed which vaccinations I wanted for both dogs, based on my own research, our lifestyle, and recommendations from their breeder. I specifically declined certain vaccines that I believe my dogs don’t need. I paid for both dogs during that first visit to streamline the second. At the second appointment, I once again went over the same vaccine plan and reiterated that my second dog should receive only the same shots I already paid for. The tech seemed to understand. However, when she returned, she asked for additional payment...for a vaccine I had clearly declined. When I questioned this, I was told, “Well, we already gave it to her, you need to pay.” No apology, no accountability—just a demand for payment for something I explicitly said I didn’t want. The entire reason I prepaid was to avoid exactly this situation. If this were my own medical provider, I’d have considered legal action. I did explore that route but ultimately chose not to pursue it given the relatively small cost and the unfortunate fact that the shot had already been administered. Still, the lack of remorse and continued push to upsell unnecessary vaccinations makes it clear this clinic is more focused on revenue than individual care.I’ve since found a new vet, more affordable and far more attentive, who’s already helped us more with behavior and overall wellness than Noah’s ever did after my original vet left. I no longer recommend Noah’s and would advise pet owners to proceed with caution, especially when it comes to advocating for the specific care they want for their animals. The 24 hour emergency clinic I'm sure is fine when those situations arise, but please stay away from them as your routine vet.
Jul 10, 2025 · Randi RuddyThey care so much about animals and do a fantastic on the patients. Sunshine(the clinic cat) is awesome as well! She is super sweet, soft and has beautiful eyes. Keep it up Noah's!!!
Apr 12, 2025 · Natalie Viergutz3 strikes, you're out..This place isn't a pet caring facility, it's a money making Ponzi scheme. You give them money, They give you wrong diagnosis & ineffective medicine. Then want more money to start back at square one. They go out of their way to overcharge you for medicine that you have to mention "price match" for them to discount it. They ignore your input for months, only to finally agree you were right on Day 1 but because it's too late you're forced to put your animal down.GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Don't even trust them to groom, you'd be better off with no guard clippers at home.
