★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It happened that we had to have a giant cyst removed from our cat (Peachy-Pie). They were so kind from beginning to end. The procedure was an overnight visit. He was clean and loved on. He came home with a cone of shame and a story worthy scar. Everything healed well and he is excited to get his cone of shame off in a couple of days! I would recommend Dr. Heidi and her lovely staff. They are knowledgeable and kind.
September 12 · This Joyfilled LifeI’ll probably update this later but if I could give zero stars I would.. we took our fur baby (male kitty) in to get neutered (September 28, 2021) Everything seemed to have gone fine but a few days later we noticed a large hole in his lower stomach. It seemed she had forgotten he was a male and went to spade him instead. Once she realized her mistake she neutered him but…. The hole wasn’t cared for, they didn’t stitch him, nothing and when we took him in Tuesday, October 5, 2021 (clarify dates just because) they didn’t seem to care, for one, she didn’t stitch him, gave him a shot, and put him in a cone and sent us on our way.. we noticed him getting worse, so we took him to a different vet clinic in Mount Vernon (October 12, 2021 (best vets I’ve ever went too) and they told us it looked like he’d been cut open, they took a swab, put antibiotic on him, and showed him so much love… obviously this veterinarian (North Whidbey) is very very terrible, we called a few days later probably October 15, 2021 to give them a piece of our minds and they were very very rude.. and now my fur baby is worse… far worse, he’s not eating, he’s barely drinking water, he’s not active… he cant jump up to my bed at night to cuddle… NOTHING!DO NOT TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES HERE!!
October 17 · Samina PooreDr. Jon saw my elderly Chihuahua Lucy(She is 18!). We had her spayed as she had problems with her ovaries, 2 teeth removed, a full dental cleaning. He did a great job and she recovered super fast! He also gave us recommendations based on blood work for a new food(She has a sensitive tummy and prior to her new diet would occasionally vomit). She's doing great and is more energetic then ever! I highly Recommend North Whidbey Veterinary Hospital.
July 23 · Jason DicksonI'm editing my original review because I no longer use this vet, nor would I recommend them. Here's why, because after being their client for multiple animals for multiple years, when I called to ask if they'd see my dog right away, they said no and suggested I try the emergency vet that's an hour's drive away. My dog died on the way to another vet.I still don't know what was wrong with her, she was fine with no health problems and had eaten & acted completely normally the night before, then couldn't get up the next morning. It definitely isn't something the vet was responsible for. However, if a vet that I've seen for years and spent thousands at, can't be bothered to fit in a regular client, as far as I'm concerned, they're not in it because they love animals--which is my top priority.Solid, reliable vets. They cost less than other area vets, probably because the clinic is old & shabby. But the savings is worth it.
October 07 · Dawna NolanI think they are nice enough but they can never see us when our dog needs care. They also close at 3 so it's impossible to get an appointment in a timely manner. I am done with them
