★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Awesome place! The staff are very friendly and attentive. I have brought 3 cats to get spayed here (two of my cats at 1 1/2 years old, one cat at 6 months old) and every single experience has been incredibly smooth. One of my girls had been in heat on the day of the appointment (not ideal) yet they did not have an issue with it and she healed up perfectly after a week! Initially, I was pretty nervous (as most pet owners are) when bringing in my babies for their surgeries, but the staff made sure to answer any questions that I had, which gave me peace of mind that my kitties are in good hands. The place can get pretty busy, so expect to wait a while when picking up your pet, they take in so many pets. The first time I came here, when I brought my first two cats, I waited about an hour (give or take) when picking them up, but there were soooo many people picking up pets that day so it was very understandable. The second time when I brought my younger cat, the wait time was maybe 20 minutes. They try to be as quick as they can be, while making sure that you go home with all of the information that you need. They take the time to give a run-down on how to attend to your kitty(s) when you bring them home. The wait is worth it when considering the affordable cost, as well as the helpful and informative staff.
June 24 · ElyxiiaOur experience with Ontario Spay and Neuter was very troubling, and I believe there are serious issues that need to be addressed. At our dog’s first spay appointment, she was given a medication that should never have been administered and could have put her life at risk. Because of this mistake, the surgery had to be canceled, and we were forced to reschedule. Errors of this nature are extremely concerning in a veterinary setting. Both appointments were also marked by very poor organization. Each time we were left waiting for hours with little to no communication, and the only explanation offered was that “unfortunately it’s out of our hands.” For a medical service, this lack of accountability is unacceptable. At the rescheduled appointment, we were told our dog would be ready for pickup at 5:30 p.m. We arrived early to be prompt, but still waited another two hours before she was released. This type of delay, without proper updates, adds unnecessary stress to both pets and owners.Veterinary care requires precision, professionalism, and reliability. Based on our experience, Ontario Spay and Neuter fell short in all of these areas. I strongly urge them to review their procedures and improve both their medical protocols and communication practices.Because of the serious medication error, the repeated disorganization, and the lack of accountability throughout, I can only give this clinic 1 star.
August 16 · Moises HernandezThis facility needs work. In many areas.First, wasted our time, as well as put our dogs life at risk, by a mistake that they made. From what I understood, in short… they gave her some sort of medication that was not supposed to be given, and had to immediately emergency flush it out, which would not allow for them to give anesthesia to perform the operation. So, had to reschedule. Had to wait nearly 2 hours both time to check her in, because of their lack of time management, or keeping a good flow.Waiting room cleanliness! This place feels & is visibly so unsanitary. I would not like to imagine the surgery bed, or behind the closed doors. The dust, balls of hairs, and other unknown debris in corners and the rugs is NOT from a day or two…Their punctuality, or time management is non existent. They made it clear we couldn’t be late passed 5:30 to pick up, so we arrived at 5:20 thinking it was a time slot for us and our dogs discharge time. Nope, was there along with a full waiting room of others until 7:20 or so.So many thins went wrong, I wish I would have avoided the stress on my dog, and my family by not going here. But I hope you & your family do.
August 17 · ARSReally easy to book an appointment. We had our cat spayed and they have a very easy to understand check in and discharge process. I liked the appt reminder email, good prices, good communication and follow-up, and really sweet staff. Our kitty was so well cared for, in good hands there… she never even seemed sore at all and healed right up.
July 19 · Summer SmileThey took very good care of both my kitties. One was a male. I was a female price wasn’t too bad. They called when my kitty was done to let me know and how they were feeling. Also, what time I could pick them up very organized when I went there I just suggest to have an appointment.
