PAW Center Reviews
Paw Center has been absolutely amazing to work with. My rescue Pitt mix Tater was an abuse case and ended up losing his front leg & breaking his back. After several months he was walking again but we could tell he was still struggling at times. We decided to put him in physical therapy to help strengthen his remaining limbs. The receptionist Mindy was very kind and helpful. Our physical therapist Chelsea was wonderful from the very start. She was knowledgeable and explained everything as she did her initial assessment. We developed a treatment plan that included the pool and underwater treadmill. Chelsea helped Tater feel comfortable with every new activity, the peanut butter lick mats may have helped too! After 2 month's Tater has gained confidence, strength, and muscle in his remaining limbs. He graduated his therapy program today and it was bittersweet. I am so proud of my boy but we are going to miss these sessions. It’s obvious that Chelsea and Mindy have loved getting to know Tater and watching him thrive. If you ever find yourself in a situation where your pup needs physical therapy I highly recommend Paw Center. I seriously cannot say enough about them.
Feb 06, 2025 · Amber GalovicsSO thankful for the PAW Center. After three separate surgeries we spent a total of 18 weeks at the PAW center doing rehab on Sid's knees and he thrived. The staff was so friendly and I can't say good enough things about Chelsea. She is honest, forthright, and so kind. I looked forward to our weekly sessions just to chat. The facility is clean and welcoming. I love the cute pictures they take and the personal touch that is shown with each dog. Sid is thriving thanks to Chelsea and the PAW center.
Mar 26, 2025 · AudreyI cannot say enough positive things about PAW Center and the staff! My buddy Wilson slipped a disc in his back (IVDD) which happened 4 days after we put our oldest dog down. He lost all function in his back legs. Through a lot of luck and great care at VCA Northwood, Wilson regained mobility but it was still a dangerous situation for him. We got a referral to PAW Center and it's the best thing in the world! Chelsea and Mindy are so positive and friendly they make you feel like family. Your pet is their #1 priority and the knowledge and care that Chelsea has given us is priceless 💙 thank you so much for all that you do. Springfield is very lucky to have you and your facility here. I tell everyone who asks me about Wilson about PAW Center 🐾 😊
May 18, 2025 · Michelle PerkinsWe are so glad we decided to bring our dog, Granger, here after her TPLO surgery for a ruptured CCL. The facility is really nice and the PT Chelsea has been wonderful to work with. She cares about the animals she's helping, she's easy and personable to communicate with, and she is very knowledgeable. Granger loved the underwater treadmill and can't wait to go swimming in the pool! We highly recommend taking your pets here for rehab PT or even just for building more strength and/or helping them lose weight.
Jan 31, 2025 · Danielle MortellMy girls love the Paw Center! After my boxers bilateral TPO surgery and 2 additional knee surgery’s my little girl needed to build back muscles and strength back in her legs. My vet raved about this place for my dog’s recovery. She really enjoys the under water treadmill and has the time of her life getting to swim in the heated indoor pool. My other boxer goes with her and loves to swim in the pool and play. She has terminal cancer and this helps her stay healthy and fit while on her cancer meds. All that said, the staff are amazing so helpful and friendly. Their physical therapist, Chelsea is hands-down, the greatest of all time! She is so compassionate and has a wealth of knowledge that has helped me understand, learn, and help my girls reach their recovery goals. Most of all my girls absolutely adore her. I highly recommend the Paw Center!! On a scale from one to 10 I give this place a 20!!
