Paw Priority: Veterinary Urgent and Primary Care Reviews
I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Ameis and his terrific staff at Paw Priority. My Husky is a big baby who needed surgery to remove a tumor on his paw. I could not have asked for better treatment. Dr. Ameis explained the whole procedure carefully and even showed me the before and after photos right after surgery. The hospital is new, clean and beautiful. I will be bringing both of my Huskies here for all of their medical needs going forward!
Feb 28, 2025 · Lisa BunnellMy husband and I took our cat Nemo to see Dr. Amies, and it was the best experience I've ever had at a vet clinic. The clinic is spotless, and the staff is great, from Danielle the receptionist to the Vet Tech to the X-Ray Tech. And Dr. Amies is flat out amazing. The Doctor suggested two tests for Nemo's recent behavior changes. The he said we didn't need to get them both done right away. Refreshingly honest! He doesn't upsell, or charge more than the initial estimate. He treats your pet like one of his own.I'm so happy we tried Paw Priority. Vet owned and operated, it is a true small business which puts your furry family members first.
Apr 28, 2025 · Nancy GailSo happy with the care my cat is receiving at Paw Priority. I had a bad experience with another vet and came in for a second opinion after seeing all of the great reviews. Dr. Ameis calmed my nerves and explained everything that went wrong at my prior vet. He spent over an hour answering all of my questions. He even let me watch while the techs took my cat’s X rays. He is very experienced and gave me his email if I have any other questions. I feel much more comfortable at a family practice like this one. The folks at the front desk were beyond kind and I’m super happy. Thank you!!
Jun 05, 2025 · Julia OktayI highly recommend Paw Priority if you're looking for a vet for your furry friend!Everything is brand new and clean. At first, I was a little worried since there were only a few reviews, and it's a new business. I even wondered if they were forcing clients to leave five-star reviews. But the vet never mentioned writing a review at all, which reassured me.All the staff are incredibly sweet and kind. I've had experiences where the doctor was great, but the staff were rude or careless—this was not the case here.Dr. Ameis is truly amazing. He genuinely cares about animals, and I could tell he gave my dog his full attention and love.My dog sometimes looks traumatized after leaving the exam room at other clinics, but here, she seemed really calm. There was no bleeding on her arm after the exam, which was a relief.Another thing I appreciated was that they don’t overcharge. I’ve met so many vets who try to add unnecessary medications or injections just to make more money, but Dr. Ameis is nothing like that—he’s truly honest. What really touched my heart was that they placed a towel on the exam table so dogs wouldn’t slip. It always made me a little sad seeing dogs struggle on cold metal tables, and many vets even drag them around during check-ups, which is terrible for their legs. I understand that keeping towels clean can be difficult when a clinic gets busy, but the important thing is that they never drag the animals.I can tell Dr. Ameis has a deep love for animals. I'll definitely continue bringing my dog here.Thank you to the entire Paw Priority team!
Feb 20, 2025 · hyunhwa ChaI took my cat here on recommendation from a friend, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I’m very picky and judgy when it comes to my cat. Paw Priority exceeded my expectations! Danielle at the front desk keeps the office immaculately clean and smelling great (not like a typical vet office). Dr. Ezra is so soft spoken and kind. He listens and cares about you and your pet needs. I’ll definitely be coming here for the rest of my cat’s and future pets lives. Great all around!
