Pet Method Animal Hospital

Animal hospital, Emergency veterinarian service ★5.0

260 N Coit Rd Ste 130, McKinney, TX 75071, USA

5.0
Dr Finn and the entire staff are so nice and accommodating to each individual pets’ needs. If you have a reactive animal they do their best to make sure that your appointments don’t overlap with another and help create a safe and comfortable environment for them. They take care of my pup as if she were their own; which is all you can really ask for, especially when she can be a handful. They take the time to answer or address any questions and concerns and have been incredibly patient with me when I need more clarification. It’s the most welcoming clinic I’ve taken my fur baby to, me and my pup feel so comfortable there, and I would trust my pets with Dr Finn through anything. They also have a rewards program through the PetDesk App and that’s been really nice to have with routine visits. - Jessica Vining

  • Annual Veterinary Wellness Visits

  • Veterinary Diagnostic Exams

Even if your pet shows signs of illness, they can't tell you what's wrong or how they feel. Maybe you've noticed a change in their eating habits or personality. At Pet Method, Dr. Hunter Finn and his team are here to help when your dog or cat isn't feeling their best.

  • Parasite Prevention And Treatment

Parasites are common health concerns that can cause a great deal of misery for both dogs and cats. In most cases, parasites are preventable through routine veterinary care.

  • Behavioral Evaluation

From tail-wagging to aggression, your pet's behavior says a lot about what they're feeling. An animal's environment, instincts, and history all affect current behavior.

  • Nutritional Assessment

Your canine or feline requires a specific diet to stay healthy, active, and vibrant over the course of their lifespan. There are many brands of cat and dog food available along with numerous types of diets, but sometimes it's difficult to know which one is best.

  • Mass Removal

Many pets will develop lumps and bumps sometime during their lifespan. While some are harmless, others are masses or tumors that necessitate surgical removal. The team at Pet Method offers diagnostic testing to determine the size and scope of the mass and see whether it is benign or cancerous.

  • Foreign Body Removal

As dogs explore the world, they could end up eating a foreign object, like a rock, toy, clothing item, bone, or coin. Similarly, cats have been known to swallow objects, like plant materials, string, and small toys.

  • Bladder Stone Removal

Bladder stones are a common condition in dogs and cats. Also referred to as uroliths, bladder stones are rock-like crystals that become trapped in the bladder and affect your pet's ability to urinate.

  • Laceration Repair

  • Veterinary Biopsies

If your furry friend has a lump or bump, Dr. Finn may recommend a procedure called a biopsy. That involves removing part or all of the mass and sending it to a diagnostic lab for evaluation. Our goal is to determine whether a mass or tumor is benign or malignant to decide on the best treatment.

  • Veterinary Fine Needle Aspirate

If your dog or cat has a suspicious lump or bump or an abnormal area or organ, a biopsy may be needed to determine whether it is benign or malignant. That involves removing a sample under general anesthesia and sending it to a diagnostic lab for evaluation.

  • Veterinary Orthopedic Surgery

If your furry friend requires orthopedic surgery, your trusted team at Pet Method is here to help. We are pleased to partner with an expert mobile surgery group that performs the most intricate orthopedic surgery procedures right here at our McKinney practice.

  • Dental Cleaning And Polishing

Taking care of your pet's smile is one way you can help them live a longer, healthier life. At Pet Method, we recommend bringing your cat or dog in for professional dental cleanings once each year.

  • Full Mouth Dental X-Rays

Although your pet's smile may appear healthy, gum disease and other oral health problems could still hide beneath the surface of the teeth. For this reason, the team at Pet Method performs digital dental x-rays to view the area beneath the gumline and see the internal tooth anatomy.

  • Pet Periodontal Care
