Choosing a veterinarian is a deeply personal decision, and while Frisco Pet Hospital has many strengths, it's worth a thoughtful consideration of all factors. The hospital’s dedication to a "fear-free" environment and their comprehensive service offerings are significant advantages. The ability to get everything from a check-up to an ultrasound to boarding at a single location is a major convenience for busy pet owners. The long-term relationships they build with clients, where pets grow up visiting the same loving staff, demonstrate a consistent and positive track record.
However, it is also important to consider the concerns raised by some clients, such as long wait times and issues with communication, particularly in critical situations like boarding. A client's experience with a severe allergic reaction that went unnoticed and was treated with a simple cone is a serious concern that highlights the need for due diligence and clear communication. While the hospital aims for top-notch care, some clients have found the follow-through to be lacking. Ultimately, the choice comes down to personal priorities. For pet owners who value an all-in-one location, a compassionate team, and a vet who is open and honest in their communication, Frisco Pet Hospital offers a strong option. However, it is also advisable to discuss concerns and expectations with the staff beforehand, especially regarding specific needs like boarding or pre-existing conditions, to ensure a positive experience for both you and your pet.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We have a happy and healthy girl thanks to Frisco Pet Hospital! We’ve been seeing Dr. Moore since June of this year when we got our Sandy. She loves visiting the vet, adores the vet techs, and enjoys seeing the doctor! They always have her best interest in mind, and we couldn’t be more pleased. I like how open and honest the vet is, and they take care of us! I know many friends and family members that also come here, and I understand why❤️
October 15 · Elaine CookOverall, I’m really disappointed in Frisco Pet Hospital. After having moved here I have had two appointments and boarding. Both appointments took almost an hour to see Dr. Moore, even after arriving on time. The 10 minutes spent with Dr. Moore were great though. The boarding experience was purely awful. There was no phone call to me to tell me my dog was struggling, or they simply didn’t notice she was having VERY VERY severe allergies. Of which was a known prior condition. Even if they didn’t check the medical record it was blatantly obvious. Their treatment was simply a cone, even after I pre-authorized a fairly substantial amount for care if anything happened. Surprising since they do the upsell thing on everything. Upon returning home, my dog was found with welts to her belly and raw blisters in her armpits, red eyes, scratches in ears, etc. After having spent almost $1k here in little over a month I would have expected top notch treatment for my dog. I would advise looking elsewhere if you value respect for your time and attentiveness to your pet while in their care. Note, the 5 star reviews are likely because they offer raffles each month to offset some of the very same complaints I have put here oddly enough.Update, an email was sent advising them of the wounds found on my dog and as of 6:45pm on the day of, no acknowledgement has been received.
July 31 · ScottLove this vet! They take such good care of our 4 Huskies! They even handle our lil sasshole Tippy for grooming with such great care! 5 stars for anyone who can handle Tipper Ann! Adding an update! We absolutely love the vet and staff! They are so patient with all my anxiety and questions and it is always a pleasant visit!!
June 14 · Stephanie RexI rarely write reviews, but when I do, it’s because it truly matters.Dr. Moore and his staff saved my puppy’s life and gave her a second chance to live. They provided her with every bit of care she needed—even staying past office hours to make sure she was okay. She is alive because of their primary care! I couldn’t be more grateful to them.
May 21 · S SPWe've finally changed providers! This is Patch's first visit @ Frisco Pet Hospital, where he was taken care of by Jeanie and Dr. Moore. We appreciate the time they took to care for Patch. They offered him treats, belly rubs, and plenty of reassurance, making his experience as stress-free as possible. It's very easy and comforting to go into a place where you know your pit is welcome. We will return for sure for future treatments and nail trims. Thank you very much to Dr. Moore's team and their expertise for helping us keep Patch happy and healthy for years to come.
