The most compelling reasons to choose this clinic are the consistently positive experiences, particularly those that highlight the staff's compassionate and professional demeanor. The family's gratitude for the "kind, caring and professional" staff who provided a "loving peaceful end" speaks volumes about the clinic’s character. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Update. They are without large animal vets at this time and didn't inform me when I brought in a dying goat on January 11. I sat in the waiting room for over 30 minutes with her dying in my arms. Photos of the goat in a blue towel. When I realized the vet assisting us didn't know what she was talking about - I asked her to put the goat down. I hope they decide to be honest about what they know and do not so owners can make an informed decision WITH THE VET. Even with limited knowledge there is still much a vet can do that an owner cannot do without them. The kiko had a swollen joint and we wanted a second opinion beyond putting him down or spending hero money on him. Pittsburg gave us another option and today we brought him in to get new xrays and are happy that the abscess is no longer within his joint. The area still looks swollen, but he moves well and the bones are in the right places. The little black goat is Jazzy. She got 10 hours focused on her survival day 2 of her life. She's 2 months old and tinier than some of our 1 month old kids.Today they checked her and she's healthy! (Just small, and as a small person, I know there's nothing wrong with that.)All around good news. The mobile vets have also come to our farm for a cow and to give annuals to our horses. Love them!!
June 18 · Jessica FullerThank you Pittsburg Vet Clinic Team! Our beautiful 12-year dog Bella had a stroke or heart issue and collapsed, we were devastated and we also knew we did not want her to suffer any longer. Pittsburg Veterinary Clinic was kind, caring and professional from the initial call, to receiving us and allowing us to be with her to the end in a nice private room. They got us in right away and took care of us immediately when we arrived. They were ALL so caring and thoughtful of Bella and us through our difficult time. They treated our Bella girl with dignity and real care. Thank you, it meant so much to us for our Bella girl to have a loving peaceful end.
July 25 · T WIs 10 stars an option? My cat needed an emergency surgery and my current vet couldn’t take her. I was frantically calling all over trying to find a place. They told me to bring her in. Got her back immediately, stayed after hours, and took excellent care of my Cocoa! She’s healing nicely-walking around, alert, eating. I’m forever grateful!
June 13 · Amy DelaisseThis vet clinic is one of the best I have ever gone to. On May 9,2025I took me female Yorkie in to have her checked to see how soon she would have puppies. They showed great concern because she is small and the dad is about 20lbs. bigger. Told me if I needed anything to let them know.Yesterday on May 19,2025 The dad dog was attacked by a hog and torn his side open. They didn't hesitate to see him. They took great care of him, put a drain tube in him and stitched up. Sent him home with the medicine he needed. They said if he didn't eat in two days bring him in immediately (he ate last night).Gave us great instructions on how to take care of him.I will continue to take my pets to them.THEY ARE AWESOME. The staff is awesome.Laura Case
May 27 · Laura CaseWe brought our dog in because she had injured her left front leg. I was grateful that they worked us in since we didn't have an appointment. They insisted that we have lab work done before she would prescribe any medications. Xrays were taken and showed no fractures. We were given some anti inflammatory medications and left without a diagnosis. Our bill was just less than $500! This is severe price gouging! Zero stars! You can make your own decision to use this vet clinic, but we will NEVER be back!
