Pottstown Animal Wellness Services Reviews
Such a great place to take your pet! I brought my two babies along with the little kitty we had to get checked out! Everyone was so great! From the time I walked in, everyone was so kind to me, and so understanding and patient! The women in the front were awesome at helping me even after the vet had seen my cat. The vet was very patient with my babies while seeing my cat. They are young so they wanted to see everything, and my son was just chasing around the cat they have there! They let the cats wonder around the vet, which I thought was awesome! I really can't say enough kind things about the women who work there! One woman at the front desk helped me carry my cat to our car after our visit because my hands were so full. They are so kind to the animals as well! They have some cats for adoption for anyone who is looking, and you can go and ask them about the cats there! They have great pricing and are just great all the way around! So Happy we chose this place to take our little kitty too! 😊
Mar 11, 2025 · Jessica ZavalickI had my puppy spayed here and just got weird vibe and the office smelled both times I was there like cat poop. I did tell them but they didn’t smell it and they have no hard for animals to go potty before or after surgery. They said they would follow up and see how my pup was doing but no call. Only went here on a reference but wouldn’t in the future.
Jun 30, 2025 · Michelle SnyderDr. DiBuono is smart, talented, caring and kind hearted. All of the staff at Pottstown Animal Wellness Services are extremely nice and professional. I have never been more happy with the way my animals have been treated. I live 35 minutes away but would drive an hour in a heartbeat. This is a GREAT team. I'm so greatful for their services!
Apr 24, 2025 · A MEveryone is really nice and office staff are super friendly. I'm so happy to have found a vet that is comfortable with treating diabetic cats. The vet was also able to recognize and diagnose a condition that our previous vet brushed off as inconsequential that actually needed medical attention. My cat is now full of energy and playful! Don't forget to say hello to Jarvis the resident kitty when you stop by!I really hate to add this edit, but after our last experience I really have no choice. I brought my cat, Sweetie in for a suspected flair of her autoimmune disease and the possible need for antibiotics. The vet brought up the fact that her rabies vaccine was overdue, but I pointed out that she is an older cat with multiple chronic illnesses, including diabetes, and I wasn't comfortable with vaccinating her again (I have gotten State exemptions for sick senior cats before, so I know this is legally possible). They tried to do blood work, but couldn't get it (she is a very easy going cat and this shouldn't have been a problem), told me to return a few days later to rey again and ordered me to drug her to sedate her. Standard protocol for any animal is to NOT vaccinate if there is a possible infection. The vet sent her home with an antibiotic for an infection they couldn't confirm she had, AND VACCINATED HER IN ANOTHER ROOM WITHOUT MY CONSENT!!! She had a horrible reaction, stopped eating for 4 days, her blood sugars crashed, and she needed to be taken to an emergency appointment at another vet. This vet was furious when I told them what happened. She should never have been vaccinated while having an infection! Thankfully she recovered, but I will never bring another animal here again.
