★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This week I took my new pet , Dunkin for his first puppy visit. I was happily greeted when I walked into the lobby by the receptionist. And I first thing I noticed was how clean The waiting room was. I was quickly put back into a very clean, examining room and greeted by a technician . The technician was very cheerful and kind and friendly. They addressed all my concerns and notified me of what was gonna be given to Dunkin today. When the veterinarian came in, she was gentle, kind, and friendly with my pet and with me she was very friendly. I walked out feeling good that my dog just got a great exam. I was notified what was gonna happen in four weeks when he returned . I highly recommend premier Vet care.
August 15 · MaryRose MurphyI cannot say enough good things about Premier Vet Care. They quite literally saved my puppy’s life. I took in a puppy who was born with a severe heart defect called PDA (patent ductus arteriosus) as well as a cleft palate. I was initially quoted $6,000–$8,000 at the University of Georgia for the heart surgery alone—an amount that made me feel completely helpless. I was heartbroken at the thought of not being able to save him. Luckily, I found Premier Vet Care. Not only were they willing to give my sweet puppy a chance at life, but their care was absolutely top-notch—and financially within reach. I drove all the way from Georgia just to bring him to their facility, and from the moment I walked through the doors, I knew I had made the right choice.Every single person I encountered—from the front desk staff to the vet techs and doctors—was kind, compassionate, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. They treated my puppy like he mattered, and they gave him a fighting chance. Thankfully, he healed quickly from the heart surgery and he just returned for his cleft palate repair. Thanks to Premier Vet Care, my puppy now has a future. I will be forever grateful to this incredible team, and I will continue to shout their praises. I cannot recommend them enough!
June 04 · Annesly BaineLet me preface this review by saying I had seven (7) animals under care at this location. After multiple instances of poor service and unhelpful employees over the past six months, today's attempt at a "money grab" was the last straw. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, and so should you.Instance 1Several months ago, I had a cat develop a respiratory infection that required a visit and medication. I called the morning I noticed the sneezing, but Premier didn't have an open slot for me that day. They said I could come in, and they would squeeze me in. I sat in the waiting room for three hours. Not once did ANY employee speak with me, bring me an update on when I could expect to be seen, or even ask how I was doing. After all was said and done - 4 hours with the wait time and visit.Instance 2In February of this year, I had another cat that was under Premier's care for diabetes. This required us to administer shots and monitor insulin levels. During our cat's care, we noticed that she was getting sicker - eyes fully dilated, not eating, and extreme difficulty walking. We attempted on multiple occasions to contact the vet, but due to inclement weather, they were unavailable/unable to respond. By the time they got back to us, our cat was extremely ill, beyond care, and was put to sleep. If you know diabetes, you understand that too much or too little insulin can be deadly. Without proper guidance from Premier, we were unable to get her the care she needed that could have potentially extended her life.Instance 3We rescued a pregnant cat, who delivered five kittens 6-7 weeks ago. We scheduled them for their first wellness visit, and were seen and taken care of in a timely manner. When I went to pay the nearly $300 bill, I was informed that I would need to make a DEPOSIT for their next visit (which was only for three of the five kittens) - as it's their "policy" to require a deposit to ensure people keep their appointments. Please note - their next appointment wasn't for another five weeks. AND - they DIDN'T REQUIRE A DEPOSIT for this visit. I spoke with the office manager, but she was unwilling to remove the deposit. Also note - we've never been a "no-show", so this is not an instance of requiring a troublesome client to pay in advance.I requested the office manager to provide me with all of our pets' medical records, and informed them we would be moving the care of our seven animals elsewhere.Convenience is a luxury I'm willing to give up to be treated well - the office manager didn't even blink an eye, and let me and seven patients walk right out the door. If they'll do that to me, they'll certainly do that to you. Look elsewhere - there are better vet services to be had ... and guess what? Kittens are booked for their next appointment at their new vet ... NO. DEPOSIT. REQUIRED.
July 21 · Shawn MorrisonI have had nothing but great experiences here for the past 3 years but my last visit yesterday really prompted me to write this review. First, Dr. Johnson is so kind and helpful and thorough explaining things. I had my young kids with me and needed to bring my dog in for a drop off procedure and they came out to get her, explained everything in detail and even brought her back out to the car for me when I picked her up. The vet tech that was assisting with my dog was also incredible. Prices are fair and they are very transparent with estimates before anything is done.
August 09 · Victoria PrinceWhile I acknowledge that many people have had positive experiences with this clinic, my own experience has been disappointing due to inadequate transparency and communication.A significant issue is the inability to purchase prescriptions through online pharmacies like Chewy, instead being forced to use their own online pharmacy. This restriction was not clearly communicated when we first enrolled, and their online pharmacy often charges higher prices than Chewy. Although they apologize for the lack of clear communication, they refuse to make exceptions. It appears that they prioritize their business interests over customer satisfaction. I would recommend this clinic to pet owners with straightforward needs, but those with more complex requirements may want to consider alternative options. The clinic's staff seems to have become desensitized to frustrated pet owners, as they exhibit little empathy. If you choose to go with this vet clinic, read the policies you sign in depth. I have yet to find all my concerns on the paperwork I supposedly sign.
