For pet owners in Middle Tennessee, Acres Veterinary Clinic stands out as a top choice for several key reasons. The glowing reviews from real customers speak volumes about the clinic’s dedication and the positive impact they have on the community. For example, one reviewer shared a deeply personal story about the loss of their pet, Dazzle. They described how the clinic was "a heaven sent" and how the staff, particularly Sophia and Dr. Martin, went above and beyond to provide compassionate support. Even after a misunderstanding about cremation services, Dr. Martin personally stepped in to order a beautiful wooden urn at no charge, a testament to his incredible empathy and commitment to client satisfaction.
Another long-time resident of the area noted their struggle to find a clinic with kind, knowledgeable staff until they found Acres. They praised Dr. Martin and the technicians for their "incredibly knowledgeable" and "genuinely cared" demeanor during an unfortunately sad visit. The reviewer highlighted how the staff made a difficult experience "wonderful" through their kind words and comfort. This recurring theme in customer feedback—a combination of expert medical knowledge and heartfelt, humanizing care—is the clinic's greatest strength. They are not just treating animals; they are caring for people and their families during some of life's most challenging moments.
Ultimately, Acres Veterinary Clinic offers more than just medical services; it offers a partnership. It is a place where your pet is treated as an individual, and where your concerns are heard and respected. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Edited to add on 07/22/2025!I went and picked up my baby and they were so helpful. So so so helpful! Not to mention they had baby kittens to love on including a three legged baby that just had his leg removed.I was under the impression that Dazzle was coming home in a wooden urn with his name plate and he didn’t- I asked and Sophia immediately called the cremation center they use. She called back a little bit later to tell me that I didn’t choose that option (I was a MESS that day) and due to the sheet being hard to understand- Dr. Martin ordered me one free of charge. I will say HANDS DOWN all of my animals will go NO WHERE but to Dr. Martin!THANK YOU!My sweet baby passed today at 10:32AM. Acres Veterinary Clinic was a heaven sent today!I can’t thank these sweet people enough. You will forever be a part of Dazzle's story! THANK YOU!
July 22 · Megan FortnerI’ve lived in the area for 5+ years now and have struggled to find a clinic with kind, knowledgeable staff until finding Acres. These folks genuinely care about the well being of pets and it shows. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smiling face and the environment felt so welcoming and relaxed. Dr. Martin was incredibly knowledgeable and his demeanor showed that he genuinely cared about my situation. I unfortunately was there for a visit that didn’t end how we’d hoped but Dr. Martin and the technicians comforted me with their kind words during this difficult time. They made a not normally great experience, wonderful. Thank you to the staff and Dr. Martin. I highly recommend this animal hospital and will be back with my pets ❤️
July 18 · leslie jesterFront staff on phone called Luna a "baby" when I first called. This is how I knew this is a great vet. She took all the time in the world to talk with me about Luna. Then we got to the clinic and it was a gorgeous new building, extremely clean with fresh paint, floors and smells clean. Jennifer was very friendly, smart and good with cats. She was immediately transparent and understanding with finances. Dr. Clint was awesome with Luna, really taking the time to examine her. He was logical and compassionate and offered a very reasonable and smart approach. You have to be very careful with vets these days but Luna & I are so thankful for Acres. We will be taking all of our cats here.
July 31 · Diamond Dolphin1st time going and I'm glad I did. Dr. Martin answered all my questions was patient made my daughter feel reassured about our dog Ollie and him having seizures. I was adamant about getting an x-ray due to another vet not really educating me on his seizures and forcing meds on me to give to dog but Dr Martin let it be my decision but honestly thought it wasn't needed and that I would be giving my money away. I liked that he actually cared and wasn't trying to rip me off. The doctors assistant Haven was friendly, listened to all our concerns just like the Dr. It was a great experience considering the reasons for going even asked if he could be my new vet.
August 26 · Lynette ChastainDr. Martin was amazing! Our cat was very sick and ended up passing but Dr. Martin and his staff members treated me with such grace and compassion from the moment I walked in the door. He explained what was wrong in detail and took time with me to ensure I knew all of our options. When she passed he gave me time to grieve and allowed me to be with her the whole time. The staff loved on my baby and made her comfortable, I felt like they truly cared. I highly recommend Acres Veterinary Clinic to anyone in the Smyrna or Murfreesboro area.
