The importance of a holistic approach to pet health is something many Texans are beginning to recognize. It's about looking at the entire animal—not just a single symptom—to find the root cause of discomfort and build a lasting plan for well-being. Dr. Torres, the veterinarian at Back in Motion, embodies this philosophy. As one customer review highlights, she is known for her honest and compassionate approach, telling clients "how it really is without sugarcoating" while remaining "very kind." This candor is deeply appreciated, as it allows pet owners to make informed decisions about their animal’s health. Dr. Torres’s commitment to trying "everything she can holistically before jumping to drugs" is a major draw for clients who prefer a more natural and less invasive path to healing.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr. Torres and her staff have been very kind and welcoming to us. Her practice was recommended by our primary vet’s office when I was looking for physical therapy for our corgi Tucker, who has an incurable condition called degenerative myelopathy. He has benefitted from the underwater treadmill, laser, and shockwave therapies available at Back in Motion, as well as chiropractic and acupuncture care. He loves going, and they’ve helped keep him strong and comfortable. What I like about Dr. Torres is that she will tell you how it really is without sugarcoating, but she’s also very kind and compassionate. Katelynn and KJ are both super sweet and keep things fun for him with lots of treats and encouragement . I would definitely recommend this practice for rehab and physical therapy, and Tucker will continue to go as long as he is able.
November 26 · Jenny W.My dogs have benefited greatly from chiropractic care. Dr. Torres and her staff are always amazing. And I love that she tries to do everything she can holistically before jumping to drugs for her clients during their rehab of injuries and such.
November 26 · Tammy WadeMy dogs absolutely love and adore the team at Back in Motion, particularly Dr. Torres & Katelynn! 🖤 I have working line GSDs that compete in various sports, including Schutzhund, which is a high impact bitesport. Like any other athlete, it’s important that I make sure their bodies are in tip top shape.I love that Dr. Torres uses her hands for manual manipulation when doing chiropractic adjustments. The team is always so good with my sport dogs and have a real understanding of the increased physical needs for the trial field.I really cannot recommend them enough!!!
May 03 · von ButelkaI completely trust Dr Torres and her staff to do what’s best for my dogs. I have used them for after surgery rehab and my dog is back to playing like a puppy. They have even researched new and unfamiliar treatment options to help my dog avoid surgery all together. I can’t say enough wonderful things.
December 04 · Jamie ReidMy French Bulldog Stitch has been coming here for almost 2 months now! He yelped in pain one day and many vet visits later, he most likely has a herniated disc! We are so grateful for Dr. Torres and her team in helping Stitch get better and back to his crazy self!
