★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- One of my budgies Figment, @figandmim_thebudgies got his little leg caught in some fabric early this morning. After calling 10+ veterinary hospitals I was able to reach @ranchosequoia to confirm they offer budgie/parakeet care and could squeeze him in this morning. They are an appointment only facility, so I greatly appreciate the made a visit work asap.Anna at the front desk was kind and patient with us (as I was panicked), the vet tech staff too. Dr. Kang was amazing with handling and got him all fixed up quickly. The price was very reasonable, which was a relief.Thank you so much to the staff of Rancho Sequoia Vet Hospital for taking care of our little budgie baby! We’ll be back for routine care, and hopefully nothing urgent again :) June 11 · Selina Stratton
- Everyone in the office from the front desk to the doctor, was professional, kind, and gentle with my kitten. They explained everything to me about what needs to be done for the health of my new fur baby. This veterinarian came highly recommended to me, and I highly recommend their team to anyone looking for quality care for their pet April 21 · Rhonda Gifford
- Bringing my fur baby to this vet was a living nightmare. They were more concerned with closing on time than about helping us. Absolutely no empathy. They could have ran a couple tests Stat and chose not to. Sent me home to come back the next day. Why even schedule my appointment if not willing to help. My fur baby died in my arms shortly after I got back home. Saying this was traumatizing for my family and I is an understatement! Please take your fur babies to another vet. ANY vet would be better!! - I went to Rancho for years and they removed 14 of my dogs teeth. They removed 7 one year and 7 the subsequent year. I thought it was a lot to have removed because she had regular dental cleanings every year and it was just tarter build up. But I trusted them because I thought it was medically necessary. My last visit they informed me without doing X-rays that just by the tarter on my dogs teeth that most of her teeth would have to come out which would be like 20 teeth at once removed. They also quoted me $4,000 for a dental cleaning and tooth removal I was shocked because her teeth aren’t a that bad. Their prices also went up $1,000 yearly for dental work and at that point even with dog insurance it was getting to be extremely expensive for her to get this done yearly. Now I switched vets because of moving to another city and her new vet quoted me half the price even with teeth removal. My dog just went in for a dental cleaning at her new vet and they said she didn’t need even one tooth removed! Very upsetting that she probably had so many teeth removed probably unnecessarily the past 3 years and I even waited 2 years to get another dental cleaning since her last due to her insurance mix up. Yes her teeth have tarter build up but she doesn’t have rotting teeth! Really beware of this vet I’m so upset that I trusted them and paid them thousands of dollars for my dog to have 14 less teeth when she probably would have all of them if I had never brought her there! Not to mention they treated me like I was stupid multiple times when I expressed concern over the amount of teeth being removed when she is so young and active. Very upsetting! July 23 · Cayla Crofts
- My dog passed away a little more than one month after first going to this clinic. I did everything they told me. I gave her the medications they recommended, lab tests, diagnostic tests and surgery. She literally died days after picking her up the last time I took her in. When I dropped her off she could walk when I picked her up she couldn’t walk anymore and kept falling down. I left her there for two nights for IV fluids. One day they told me she was doing better than they tell me she needs to stay longer for more fluids. Two days I lost with her and when she returned to me she wasn’t even the same dog. The receptionist is the only one you speak to regarding test results and diagnosis which is extremely inappropriate. The only time you can talk to the doctor is if you have an appointment. However, I kept going back hoping and praying they could give me a little more time with my dog. In the end all they did was rob me of what little time I had left with her. After all I entrusted them with they didn’t even return a phone call / message I left on the voice mail the last time I picked her up. I feel like they knew she was going to die and they weren’t going to get anymore money from me so they didn’t bother calling back. Now I’m sure they will say she was old, she had cancer she was going to die and all that is true. However, in my heart I regret ever taking her there. Not that I feel some place else could have cured her but I feel she would still be alive if I did. April 21 · Lisa Cox
