This is a voluntary accreditation that demonstrates a commitment to meeting or exceeding stringent quality standards in veterinary medicine. It assures pet owners that the clinic is evaluated on approximately 900 standards, including patient care, diagnostic imaging, pain management, and surgery, which provides an extra layer of confidence in the quality of care your pet will receive.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The staff are very thoughtful and considerate. Dr. Babaev is insightful, compassionate and an excellent doctor. My 17 year old dog has had the very best care at Riverside Animal Hospital North. It is a peaceful and welcoming space for me and my dog.
July 20 · Christina Garidis1st time visit for my Labrador/French mix breed was very pleasant, polite, professional and affordable. Everyone was friendly and very helpful to answer my questions. I definitely recommend this as a place to come for your pet care.
June 10 · Rachael RosadoIts a great vet hospital. Very helpful and friendly staff - super caring and understanding. I took my dog, max, for his teeth extraction as all his teeth were diseased. Dr Alex and Dr Babaev did great work. Max recovered very quickly and has started to eat his food better than before. I went back to the place atleast 5 times in a month for interim checks after the surgery, pickup of additional medicine etc - they were very responsive and accommodating of my calls and requests.I like that they are transparent about all additional costs upfront - no surprises.Dr Babaev is fantastic! - very knowledgeable and truly caring.I highly recommend Riverside Animal Hospital North.
April 27 · Mina WheelerRiverside Animal Hospital staff a Doctor are awesome. I trust my Rosie with them. They recovered Rosie to perfect health.
May 30 · Louis AlvarezI used to go to Riverside Animal Hospital many years ago when they were on 100th Street (or thereabouts). My feelings at that time were mixed. I took a cat there recently and had a really good experience. The vet was Dr. Alix (this is a shortened version of her name). The wait time was very short, Dr. Alix was a good listener, and the advice and medications she gave were very successful in resolving the cat's issues. I was also surprised that the bill was far more reasonable than many Manhattan vets I have been to. (I do rescue work, so I go to vets on an almost weekly basis.) When I left, I thought, "I plan to continue bringing cats here." I don't know any of the other vets there, but I can very much recommend the vet who treated the cat we brought in. Overall, the experience was great. Thanks! (One final comment. We brought the cat back a week later for a quick recheck. Most vets don't charge for a recheck, but they did. I was surprised, but maybe this is a fairly common practice. It doesn't change my overall opinion of a very positive experience at Riverside North, but going forward, I will always ask if practices charge for a recheck. By the way, they also offered a discount because we are a registered non-profit, also appreciated.)
