★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We took our 13 year old cat Pumpkin in this spring for some concerning medical reasons. We had went to vets for less before but they have changed to a different vets office and I wanted to try somewhere new. She ended up having multiple issues we realized after a few visits. We ultimately decided to put her down after she proceeded to get worse. The vets and staff at sac veterinary hospital were amazing. I felt very comfortable and welcome with each visit and felt the kindness on how they treated our cat. Especially when the time came to put her to sleep. They were very helpful and were able to squeeze us in on a busy day. Gave us plenty of time to be with her before and after her passing. We decided to have her privately cremated and we received a beautiful box imprinted with her name and her paw print plus her fur in a lovely card. We then received in the mail a condolence card that everyone signed along with her inked paw prints which we had tried to do before we brought her in which we were unsuccessful in doing. We were very touched and emotional. They went above and beyond. Thankful for the staff and vets here. They made everything so much easier for us. Highly recommend. We will be back from now on with our other cat.
August 25 · Ricci KennarMy name is Koa. I’ve been cared for by Dr. Rob McMonigal since I was a tiny pup weighing just 2.5 lbs. He was my doctor for many years, and he always took great care of me. When he retired, I was sad—and a little nervous about finding a new veterinarian.Today was my very first visit to Sacajawea Veterinary Hospital, and I met Dr. Savana Sitton for the first time. Everything felt unfamiliar, and I was a little scared. While my mom was checking me in, something went wrong—I had a sudden and serious seizure. I didn’t understand what was happening, and my mom was very frightened. But Dr. Sitton and her team acted quickly. They were calm, kind, and so gentle with me. They made sure I was safe and comforted my mom, too. Thanks to their care, I’m feeling much better now—and my mom and dad are feeling better, too.Dr. Sitton, thank you for being there for me during such a scary moment. You and your staff are truly good people. I’m proud to say you’re my new doctor now. With gratitude and tail wags,Koa
June 18 · Debbie CubioSo far best most thorough and thoughtful check up my pet has been to. They took their time with me explaining everything with great detail and took their time with any questions I had. Entire visit didn't feel rushed and they handled my pet with such love and care. They even provided me literature on how to be the best kitten parent i can be! Front desk is great too in answering the phone and handling any concerns. I highly recommend signing up for the Paw plan for any new kitten parents. Such a great value for what it covers.
June 07 · CarolineHighly recommend!!! We recently switched vet clinics and could not be happier. Carl is highly anxious and can be reactive. Dr Sitton was so wonderful. She accepted Carl for the dog he is and tried to make him as comfortable as possible. The entire staff was so kind and patient with him. Really could not put into words how appreciative we are to have found them!!
June 07 · Deanne AndersonTook my baby girl in to see Dr Mason, whom is hands down our favorite person to see at Sacajawea Animal Hospital. Dr Mason goes above and beyond at explaining our choices for treatment, and is able to and answer all questions promptly. She does not judge, and is so compassionate and understanding when it comes to our furry four legged family member.
