August 12 · Rhonda FloresMy family and I are traveling to Florida and had stopped overnight in Shulenburg, TX for the night. Our cat had become sick and it was 9pm when we got into the hotel, I called Schulenburg Veterinary Hospital and spoke to Dr. Jim Sladek and he offered to meet us at his clinic within 10 minutes. Dr. Sladek took care of our cat competently and efficiently and supplied us with enough product to help our cat throughout our travels. Dr. Sladek is a rare breed, so kind and compassionate to our situation. I'm so grateful to him for seeing us and taking such good care of our cat as quickly and after hours as he did. Thank you so much Dr. Sladek! Karou is back to his normal self this morning and we appreciate all you have done!!
September 18 · Lisa Ikeguchithe doctor saved my dogs life a few days ago. she suffered a heatstroke while on road trip and he was the only one to respond after hours. September 22 · King of TexasIf I could get a half star I would! I took my puppy in after begging referred there by another vet, the vet put a thermometer in my puppies rectum and said she had a fever, I had told him about other bigger breed pups dying from hook worms on our property but my Chihuahua pup never went out side around them yet she did have worms in her stool and had the same symptoms. He didn't test her for anything at all, just gave me antibiotics for the fever and told me to use the white wormer meds you get in stores to take care of worms. The next day she got worse I called him two days in a row telling him she's worse, he told me to keep her warm and feed her ice cubes and she would be fine! This morning she died! I wasted my money and trusted this vet to treat my furbaby the best he could! She did not get proper treatment, she didn't get the fair treatment she deserved! He neglected her and he will not be my vet. I only want a vet who cares about his clients! He obviously does not!
