Southwest Animal Hospital Introduce
For pet owners in Geary, Hinton, and the surrounding rural areas of Oklahoma, **Southwest Animal Hospital** stands out as a highly specialized and notably affordable **Veterinarian** clinic. This facility, reportedly led by the experienced **Dr. Burns**, operates with a clear focus: providing high-quality medical expertise without the high costs associated with more "fancy pants" or luxury veterinary settings.
The clinic is widely valued for its straightforward, no-nonsense approach to animal care. Dr. Burns is described by clients as an expert who "don't play any games," asks the right questions, and knows exactly what he's talking about. This direct approach translates into efficient, effective medical treatment for pets, prioritizing the animal's needs above all else.
Perhaps the most significant highlight for local Oklahoma users is the fee structure. Client testimonials rave about the "unheard of," lowest fees they have ever seen, noting that the practice seems to "only charges what he paid for it" and typically does not charge an office visit fee. This commitment to affordability makes Southwest Animal Hospital an invaluable resource for low-income and budget-conscious pet owners throughout the region who refuse to compromise on professional care.
It is important for potential clients to note the operational style: the environment is focused purely on care, not ambiance, and it is crucial to call as soon as the clinic opens to secure an appointment, especially given the high demand for their specialized and affordable services.

Clients should **always call ahead** to confirm specific hours of operation, especially for urgent or after-hours needs, as a continuous 24-hour service may not be maintained.

Southwest Animal Hospital Reviews
- It says 24 hour but clinic is closed at 10 am on Sunday. My dog needs a vet asap August 17 · Jessica Ford-Clay
- When I'm in need of someone to give my babies the best care without all the unnecessary extras this is my go-to Doc. I don't need a friendly group of folks. Lol. I need someone with the experience that Dr Burns can provide. He don't play any games. He asks the right questions and knows what he's talking about. Plus his fees are unheard of. The lowest I've ever seen. He don't nickel and dime you. I'm pretty sure he only charges what he paid for it. I've never been charged an office vist. He's amazing. However if you are looking for a place that's sparkling clean, has a cute young secretary and actually caters to you more than your animal, you know, a fancy pants kind of place then you probably won't appreciate the service here. I do suggest that you call the moment he opens and expect him to say be there within the hour. September 07 · Ashley “Quinn” Blagg
