Vet put him on meds and fixed my dog up.Just had my second visit for Flea & tick / heart worm medicine. The vet is right to the point. Doesn't have a bunch of hidden fees and silly stuff. He treats the animal and charges very reasonable prices for his services.

May 24 · E AbeelDr. Tucker is a phenomenal practitioner. Wish he had a Protégé.Anyway, Dr. Tucker is a self-made man. His clinic is his own, and he's not supported like the big clinics through donations and government assistance. Which means you're going to pay a pretty penny. That does not mean he is not fair and sincere.I'm not a wealthy man. I go to school while taking care of my family. Dr. Tucker is a good man. Doesn't mean my wallet didn't hurt, but he sure helped it not hurt more when he could have easily done so.The Story: He saved my wife's cat. Willow was dying. Frankly, he shouldn't have made it. Willow is a Tomcat while also a barn cat. Meaning, his kind are normally short-lived. Thing is, Willow ended up being too good of a cat. He became best boy. Willow must have gotten into another fight. We didn't see him for nearly 3 days. On the third day, my wife found him in the garage. Poor fella dragged himself back home; a trail of blood was found that wasn't there earlier that day. His tail had grubs in it at the nape of his back. Willow was lethargic, wife was breaking down, and I had a decision to make. Dr. Tucker's clinic was the closest one to our home. I made the call, and I believe his wife picked up the phone. I asked a simple question "I know it's after hours, but my cat is dying. Do you think you can see him?" She asked how far away I was and I told her less than 15 minutes. She said to bring him over. I wrapped up best boy in a towel, he smelled of death. Drove him over and met the Doc. How can I describe Dr. Tucker in a single word? I guess "no-nonsense" comes to mind. He's an articulate man. You can hardly read his thoughts. Doesn't speak much. Quite Stoic. When conversing with him, one can't help but feel some sort of admiration. A bit annoying really. The man gave me honest hard news about Willow; "No promises can be made. Salvaging his tail may not be possible at this stage, let alone his life. He'll have to stay here for a few days. I'll do what I can. Your call." I asked him to do what he could. My wife called him every other day, as per his recommendation. He kept Willow for an entire week. Did a couple of surgeries, and ultimately saved his life. Best boy no longer has a tail, but he's living a proper life. Had to work a bit of overtime, but was well worth seeing my wife relieved.Second story: Well, I messed up, and didn't take Willow in when he got sick a little over a month ago. Upper respiratory infection. Didn't realize this could be a serious issue. Figured he'd recover on his own. He got our other cats sick, but they all recovered before him! He got into another fight and his front right leg got bit bad. Inflamed pretty good. Took him to Dr. Tucker again. Got some medicine. After 10 days, we will see what sort of recovery Willow will make. There is no guarantee he'll breath normally again. Other than that, after the recovery, we plan on having Dr. Tucker neuter him and give him his shots. I'm not too certain of this, but I felt as though Dr. Tucker refrained from lecturing me for not bringing Willow in sooner when he got sick. Lesson learned all the same.Thank you, Dr. Tucker, for your professionalism, genuine nature, and fair dealings. My wife and I are fans of yours. I hope you find a protégé. It'd be a great loss for the community to lose someone of your stature.
