UrgentVet Reviews
We have used Urgent Vet about half a dozen times for our 3 dogs. It is easy to book a slot online. The confirmation email, estimates, vet records and final bill are all processed and sent in a thorough automated like manner. One time they called ahead to an ER for our pet as they wanted them to know we were coming in with certain conditions. The emergency room was prepared and briefed before we arrivedWe use this in cases they we are not sure if it is severe enough to warrant an emergency room visit. The vet hospitals we use say this can be used as sort of a faster triage since vet hospitals can have a longer wait with running on triage and handling some very severe time sensitive cases. There have been visits where we have been given a treatment and sent on the way home. Other times we have been referred to an emergency vet center like CARE. Showing them below for reference.Came in with dog that had a lump in her mouth - referred to CARE it was melanoma. They did do x rays of the lungs to help speed up her intake at CARE.Our dog vomited we went. While there blood started coming from her mouth. They gave her an anti nausea so we could make the longer drive to CARE as she had pneumonia and had to be admitted to the hospital for a couple days.Blood in a dog's eye - On site they were able to check her retina, and did a stain to check I think if there was anything more concerning/severe. The tests all came back clear, they think she popped a vein at the groomer and sent us home with an eye ointment and instructions. They do have wifi for pet parents. Water and some snacks on the far end of the waiting area. The wait can vary depending on how many cases they have and their severity. If anything escalates while there i.e. dog went from throwing up to drooling blood just let them know and a vet tech and vet if needed will pop in.One of the most helpful things for hospitals it to take videos or photos when safe and able of what occured or they did. It can help with the assessment if your fur baby is not doing it at the time of arrival at the Urgent Vet.Would absolutely recommend and I am sure we will use again. This gives our pets relief on minor issues when our vet is not open and the injury doesn't appear to be life threatening.
Jun 27, 2025 · Christine LMy fur baby was pooping blood. It shocked me how quick they were able to see us and how reasonably price they were. Made a time slot online, and when I got there they put us in a room right away and took care of us. About 1/2 the cost of a ER hospital visit. The whole staff was efficient and so friendly. I will definitely use them again for after hours visits.
Jun 28, 2025 · Sang SantisoukMy experience was amazing. I was able to set an appointment online and gave me enough time to give my cat her medicine and get my things together.Every employee I spoke to was kind and understanding. They took the time to listen to everything I said, all my photos and notes. My cat is a bit Spicy and can be difficult to handle (even medicated) and the vet handled her amazingly. They took amazing care of her and treated her quickly and patiently. I would recommend this vet to anyone. My cat is 18 and o would trust these people over and over again with her. Thank you all so much for what you do.
Jan 14, 2025 · Emily RedmonI had a great first time experience at this urgent vet. My cat had a swollen face and voice was super raspy. He didn’t get better overnight so I knew I needed to take him to a vet. I went a little after work and they were able to take me right away at 8. The room was calming which is good for my cat that isn’t good in new places. They took great care of him. Prices were what I expected for a vet.. sedation included. We went home with some meds after they did a full physical on him. He’s doing better already, swelling has gone down a little. Definitely recommend going for quick service over an animal hospital if you feel your fur baby is sick.
Apr 10, 2025 · Amirah SavageI recently brought my puppy in for some tummy issues that needed to be resolved. I was kind of scared as I saw blood. I brought her to urgent vet and they were able to diagnose quite quickly and give my pup tons of love. They are very open and honest with pricing as they proceed with the diagnosis.
