Jan 17, 2025 · Dawn PattersonI have been going there for 14 years. I am not going anymore. Ever since they sold the practice a few years ago it is getting worse and worse. The prices are out the roof! I literally cannot afford to go there. I spent 2/3 of my week's pay and it's only Monday. $215.00 common blood panel, $85 for vet visit,$38.00 for 10 cans of cat food. $33.00 to shave 4" of long hair from my cat's tail? When they asked if I wanted then to do that, I said sure..NO mention of charge that use to be FREE or! I did hear them laughing and having a good time while they had my cat back there to get blood and urine. I worked at a vet. It doesn't take 20 minutes and I was the only one there. No surgeries either if you're going to use that excuse. Let's see if they post these prices... I don't know who the vet was, never heard of her.
Jun 17, 2025 · Sherrie SemmesBrought my old dog here for continuing palliative care after being unhappy with a different vet where my dog was very anxious. Dr. Hyatt and the staff there were amazing. My dog was calm and the staff was very kind.
Jul 04, 2025 · Kim StewartI’ve been going here for the 2 yrs I’ve lived in the Charlotte area as my brother & sister in law spoke very highly of them.I personally had always had a neutral experience, nothing bad but I wasn’t impressed with overall cleanliness of facility (saw 10 sick dogs come/go & there was no sweep or wipe down of area, dead bugs & tufts of animal hair along the walls/corners, etc.)I called on Wednesday morning as my dog had not eaten or drank anything since Monday night. After I explained symptoms to receptionist she consulted w/vet & asked if I could come in for a “work in” or “squeeze in“ appt at 2PM (can’t remember which phrase they used).I was seen right away & the vet did a 1 min physical exam (just feeling around), bloodwork & administered an anti-nausea shot & fluids. The bloodwork didn’t show anything so she prescribed an anti-nausea pill & sent me on way…EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS later!!! After looking at receipt I saw I was charged an $125 “Urgent Care” fee which I was completely unaware of! This being an “Urgent Care” visit & not a normal vet visit was NEVER mentioned to me!!My mom was w/me at the vet & her mouth physically dropped & her eyes popped out of her head! The whole way home she wouldn’t stop saying how insane that price was (their cat recently got his tail stuck in a door which broke vertebrae & skinned his tail & they had to go to a Vet ER on a Sunday morning-that cost them $300 for meds, sedation, stitches, xrays, etc). After telling my brother & sister-in-law what I paid they said they’ve been thinking of finding a new vet & this just solidified it. I understand vets need to make & but that price is not justified! Her spay in Austin TX cost $380!
