★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1They did great with my 63lb pitpull. He looks mean, but he's not. They handled him with a gentle touch.I definitely bring my other 2 dogs here. Thank you to the nurses and Dr.
July 29 · Sylvia FaggenWe needed to bring our dog in for emergency care due to damage done by another veterinary hospital and they not only saved her life but did an amazing job giving care with a very nervous dog.It is pricier than other places & did feel pressured into expensive testings that didn't seem necessary on a regular routine check up. However the emergency care was incredible and there is a male Dr that is fantastic with our reactive scared female Aussie.I’d give 4.5 ⭐️ if it was an option
August 01 · Jessica Reid1 Star – Heartbreaking ExperienceI don’t go out of my way to leave reviews like this, but after our second horrible experience here, I can’t stay quiet. We first brought our dog in for bumps on his belly. After multiple visits, they finally mentioned it could be cancer—then the vet walked out to give us some time and never came back. As we were leaving, I asked the assistant or whoever walked us out, if there was anything we could give him for the constant itching and bleeding, and the assistant literally asked me what I wanted to give him.Thankfully, we found an amazing oncologist in Carlsbad who got his cancer under control. But after a recent leg injury, we brought him back here multiple times. They said surgery wasn’t an option and gave him pain meds. Now, almost a week later, he can’t walk or eat and we called in distress, only to be unexpectedly told the doctor is out for 3 weeks and they werent sure what we could do. We were told “they are more focused on the cancer” than the leg when it was already being treated and it was handled. Unreal. They failed us twice. No communication, no urgency, no real care. I regret ever bringing our dog here.
June 21 · Leslie Calas Rojas10/10 recommend!! I’ve never had such a thorough, thoughtful experience at the vet. They were 100% focused on us, repeated and reviewed information as needed, and did as much as they could for our visit with us and our dogs in the same room. When they did have to take our pets out of the room to give them shots, they sent a photo and each one seemed like they were perfectly happy. I can’t say enough about the experience, from getting a coupon online to the after visit follow up. Thank you!!!
January 25 · Samantha ZackFound this cutie pie walking around our street. Googled nearest location I could get him scanned and VCA Cal Oaks came up. Ladies in front were so helpful, kind and quick to get his information. Made calls immediately and fortunately Ty’s family had everything updated and he was back home within the hour.Proof as to why it’s so important to have your pets microchipped and information UTD. If you have escape artist, get some training and/or purchase a GPS tracker like Fi or Whistle that alerts you when they leave your home.
