★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had rushed in at about 11pm at night after our dog had a seizure. We had such a good experience. The doctor thoroughly explained our options and answered all our questions. We ultimately decided to put our 13 year old down that night and the staff was amazing and flexible. The rainbow bridge room was perfect for our girl to pass on in. July 15 · maddox leonardThis is truly a wonderful place! Dr. Maclellan and Kathy are a wonderful team. My dog broke his canine, they were able to see him the next day and perform a root canal and then crown the tooth two weeks later without issues. Great communication, super friendly, and they did a wonderful job! I recommend this VCA, specifically the dental team!
July 10 · Chris Sampson2 stars & I’m rating the place & experience as a whole. My kitty was diagnosed with cancer - a more in depth ultrasound was needed to see where to see if chemo was potentially an option. It ended up not being one. My kitty was acting completely normal except throwing up occasionally. The ultrasound specialist was insanely late. Meant to be there at 3:30 - he got prepped at 3:00 & I waited & watched for her to show up outside not until 5:30. His body could NOT handle that & was not what I was told. 10 days later my kitty died - I watched him deteriorate AGGRESSIVELY way way more than before that ultrasound. He was going to pass but he certainly had more than 10 days without that experience. I got my soul cat ripped away from you all. And the front desk was insanely rude to me as I asked for his medicine refills as if I was such an inconvenience to them for taking care of my cat. I promptly paid my bill in full each time right there. My family didn’t deserve this
August 21 · Lauren VaughnThe care and treatment we received was above and beyond! Dr. Baumgardner and Dr. Williams cared for our dog after he had a partial obstruction. I was convinced this was the end of the road for our beloved dog, but through their careful, compassionate care, our dog is back home, alive and well!
April 30 · Brittany Baurle KooiWe had to rush my Boston Terrier in because she had a dog chew lodged in her esophagus. The vet techs took her straight back and got to working while we completed paperwork. The veterinarian spoke directly with us, clearly explaining her planned course of action and providing a timeline for updates on our pup’s condition. Ultimately, the veterinarian was able to successfully treat our pup and get her home that night with detailed aftercare instructions. While vet care (especially emergency vet care) is never “cheap,” we found the cost to be reasonable all considering. Thank you to the team at VCA Highlands Ranch! 💞🐶
