★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our senior dog has started to decline rapidly. After calling several places asking to come in, have her checked, and discuss options, we chose VCA Mountain View. Here is why: Low pressure with no “sales” pitches from the staff or the Veterinarian. Our sweet dog is simply older. Old is not a bad thing! No one asked to run expensive bloodwork, start her on costly medications and food, no X-rays. She is simply declining gracefully in no pain, no swollen organs or lymph nodes, eyes a bit foggy from age, ears and gums look great! Barely eating and drinking. Old is a welcomed diagnosis and we are celebrating our girl. Thanks so much.
June 11 · LisaDr. Scharf is simply amazing. We have had many veterinarians over the years but he has far exceeded our expectations! We adopted a terrier from the animal shelter and she has had many health issues that Dr. Scharf is helping us with. His communication skills are wonderful & he is very easy to work with. He has that unique skill of explaining medical issues in layman’s terms to help you understand the issues. If you are looking for an exceptional veterinarian I would highly recommend him. The staff is also warm & inviting as soon as you walk through the door.
May 09 · Bryan JongewaardMy cat has had severe allergies her entire life/was told at one point that she has Lupus, and it has been challenging getting straightforward recommendations from various vets. I recently met with Dr. Crossett and the experience was everything one would hope for. She spent a great deal of time examining my cat and asking questions to understand the full picture of her medical background. She did not push unnecessary examinations/medications and was very confident and straightforward with her diagnosis and recommendations. She has also been following up to make sure my cat is doing well with the proposed plan (she is!).The staff/vet techs have also been very helpful, attentive and friendly. In a world full of frustrating human healthcare, it brings me joy to have such a wonderful vet team for my cat. Thank you all so much.Side note: the reason we chose this vet was because of our experience with the Emergency center. We lost our other cat suddenly in October and brought him to the Emergency center and they were truly incredible. The receptionist, vet techs and vet were all compassionate, patient and present with us as we grieved. They listened to my irrational presumptions surrounding cause of death and reinforced that what happened was likely genetic (and not my fault). They did not rush us in saying goodbye and ultimately provided us with very beautiful private cremation options. They also sent us a card with notes from the entire staff. I'll forever be grateful for their care.
January 16 · Brooklin WhiteWe recently had our best friend, Tango, pass away. We said our last goodbyes at the VCA. They did everything they could to comfort us in our time of sadness. A few days later I received a hand written note from a large number of the staff. It was incredibly meaningful to receive this. I can't thank Kristi, Lilly, Gina, Brittany, Marquisa, Katie, Jessica, Sierra and the rest of the team there enough.
August 21 · Tony ConzI pretty much ran home to write this review! I’m so unbelievably thankful that my brother and sister in law recommended VCA mountainview and Dr. Crossett! I had a terrible experience with another clinic and vet two years ago and I was so worried taking my pup to another place. The team and Dr. Crossett made me feel so safe and heard and my pup handled this experience so well. If you have an extremely anxious and nervous pup like me, I truly can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you all so much for making Jackson feel so safe! ❤️
