Nov 19, 2024 · FlynmumThey took good care of jack and didn't mind explaining things more than once. They cared deeply about him and were respectful. I appreciate all they did. The prices were bad either. It is a small practice but good on timing.
May 02, 2025 · Elizabeth AkeyI cannot recommend Dr. Haggerty and his team enough! Crystal is so patient and kind and Dr. Haggerty is the most knowledgable and skilled vet you could ask for. He is thorough and always listens to your questions and concerns without making you feel like you're overreacting (even when I am). He is calm and genuinely cares for your pet. I've been here multiple times and am pleased at every visit. Dr. Haggerty recently did my puppy's spay surgery and she healed beautifully. His experience is obvious when he cares for your pet and I am so thankful to have him. Thank you Dr. Haggerty and team!

Mar 25, 2025 · leigh ann tripletteIt’s been over a year since I saw this vet. It’s taken me this long to review because I didn’t want to start any issues, but I was needing to bring my pet in and just checked updated reviews and feelCompelled to tell my experience.I brought my dog, dozer, in when he was very sick. He was 14 years old… I had myBeloved companion since he was 7 weeks. He experienced life with me. Dozer was beyond helping.. he was an English bulldog mix and already lived beyond his expected years. Ultimately I had to put him down the day I brought him in… but the issue was the treatment I received by the vet.Dozer lost 15lbs in a week. He began losing weight earlier than month and not really eating, so I made homemade food with rice a rotisserie chicken. He ate it immediately in seconds. Was I avoidIng the inevitable? Yes. It was clear his age was really getting to him… but the thought of having to say goodbye terrified me; and that was selfish. When the vet tech placed dozer on the table, he was so skinny.. he began to relieve himself uncontrollably. The treatment I received was weighted down in such judgement and coldness, it took me aback. I broke down… I’m talking sobbing until I was gagging typeOf breaking down. The vet was so cold and I even told him that. I told him he is treating me as if I neglected my dog.. as if I did this.. through sobbing uncontrollably. Even as I said this the vet tech started nodding her head in what seemed like her agreeing with me.After that he tried to act cold more, by saying “I never said that, did I?” And again I sobbed and said “it’s how you are treating me. How you are treating dozer. It’s what you are conveying to me with your eye rolls and cold words”. Again.. I was sobbing horribly throughout this entire time.He then became very compassionate and even had tears in his eyes. I think he made a judgment call and was very wrong; and could clearly see this dog was my life. I’m a single mom to 4 kids.. I didn’t have the money to pour into tests and i was sobbing to him saying i feel like I’m killing my dog. That it was all my fault (god I’m crying now). His words to me were “you could have all the money in the world and I still don’t think it will do any good here. He is a bulldog.. he’s lived a very longLife. The best thing you could do for him is give him peace”; with very noticeable tears in his eyes.So while at first I was devastated by the treatment I received… because I truly believe he was blaming me at first.. he became very compassionate.I don’t know this vet personally. I’m not a family member or employee… I just know he must see some horrible situations and conditions that animals are kept in and I can only imagine the toll it would take on any human being. I left without my beloved best friend that day.. but I did leave with gratitude towards that vet and his employees. We all make mistakes and bad judgement calls; but he truly did make it right and I base my opinions on the change I see in people. I now have dozer with me everyday in a beautiful wood box I got with the cremation… I love that dog so much and miss him horribly and still blame myself; but I try to remember those kind words.
