Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital Reviews
Huge thanks to Dr. Mac Guinness, the amazing front desk team, and the awesome vet techs at Vetco for taking such great care of my sweet Coconut! From the moment we walked in, everyone was so kind, helpful, and supportive—I instantly felt like Coco was in the best hands.Coco had to have a mastectomy because of a tumor, and even though it was a tough surprising situation, Dr. Mac Guinness took the time to explain everything clearly, from the diagnosis to the surgery and what to expect afterward. That kind of care and communication made such a big difference.Coconut is a very special rescue who’s already been through so much in her life. Knowing she’s being treated with so much love and compassion means the world to me. I can’t thank you all enough for everything you’re doing to help her stay strong, safe, and so loved. We appreciate you more than words can say!
Apr 10, 2025 · Bruna NiczThis was our first visit with my mom's cat. He had an issue with his paw and needed his vaccines. The entire team was so nice. My mom's cat wasn't very easy to handle but they were able to help him. We are definitely coming back with our 2 cats in a few weeks.
Mar 20, 2025 · Alana GuionyDO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR PET’S LIFE!My dog had a severe allergic reaction RIGHT AFTER getting the rabies vaccine at this PetCo vet! The vet didn’t explain ANYTHING about what to watch for after the shot – just took our money and kicked us out. All previous vaccines went fine, but this time my poor dog turned bright red and swollen (especially around the eyes and mouth) on the way home!We called them in panic, but the vet had already LEFT. The staff said they’d call back tomorrow – no urgency at all. We didn’t even know it was a vaccine reaction and thought it might be a bug bite! Had to rush to an ER where REAL vets saved him.THE WORST PART?- They NEVER called back the next day like promised- The front desk acted **cold and rude** – no apology, just excuses- Still no apology or explanation until nowWhat if we hadn’t gone to the ER? What if we didn’t figure out it was their vaccine? My dog could’ve DIED because of their unprofessional, irresponsible service. Save your pet – go to a REAL animal hospital, NOT this place!
Mar 05, 2025 · Kristen PeiThe place was beautiful don’t get me wrong. The vet was honest about my situation. However, I think the pricing is just a little 😳 an xray for 800 dollars. I don’t know if it should be that much, I think petco/ vetco is just good for vaccine packages.
May 03, 2025 · Susan GutierrezThis was my first and last time ever! Such a horrible experience! They profiled me by my skin color. After waiting for a long time and had other people be seen before us the receptionist informed me that the doctor did not want to see my puppy. She was uncomfortable herself. It was my first time so still wondering why they were treating me like this. I don’t know, and then informed me that she was trying to see if another doctor would see us. I felt so uncomfortable there. I had taken the day off so I didn’t want to miss my puppy’s appt. The staff is so mediocre, especially the tech(short lady with long hair). They had me and my puppy sit around and when he was finally seen it was a 5 min careless appointment. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR MONEY.
