Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For pet parents across New York, especially those residing in The Bronx, ensuring the foundational health of our beloved animal companions through preventative care is a key responsibility. While full-service veterinary hospitals address a wide range of medical needs, sometimes all your pet requires are essential vaccinations and basic wellness checks to stay healthy and protected. This is precisely the valuable service offered by **Vetco Vaccination Clinic**, conveniently located inside the Petco store at 815 Hutchinson River Parkway. Vetco Vaccination Clinic provides accessible, affordable, and efficient walk-in wellness and vaccination services for dogs and cats. It's designed to make routine preventative care simple and stress-free for busy New Yorkers. Instead of a traditional veterinary office visit for shots, Vetco offers a streamlined experience focused on common vaccinations, microchipping, and basic deworming, making it easier for pet owners to keep up with crucial preventative health measures. The model is built on convenience and affordability, ensuring that fundamental protective care is within reach for a broader segment of the community. It's important to note that while this location is within a Petco, the provided reviews primarily speak to the Petco store environment, particularly grooming services, rather than direct veterinary care from Vetco itself. Therefore, this article will focus on the general expectations and benefits of a Vetco Vaccination Clinic as a distinct entity within the Petco store, based on its known service model.
Location and Accessibility
The **Vetco Vaccination Clinic** is situated inside the Petco store at **815 Hutchinson River Parkway, Bronx, NY 10465, USA**. This location offers significant accessibility advantages for pet owners in The Bronx and surrounding areas of New York City. The Hutchinson River Parkway is a major roadway, providing straightforward access for those traveling by car from various parts of The Bronx, Westchester County, and even Queens. The Petco store typically offers ample parking, which is a major convenience in New York City, eliminating the stress of finding street parking often associated with standalone clinics. While public transportation options might require more planning to reach this specific Parkway address, the primary benefit of this location is the ease of vehicular access and parking. Being inside a large retail pet store means pet owners can combine a vaccination visit with picking up pet food, supplies, or even grooming appointments at the Petco, making it a one-stop shop for various pet needs. This integrated approach within a familiar retail environment contributes to a more relaxed experience for both pets and their owners, reinforcing its suitability for the local community seeking convenient and routine pet care.

Aug 12, 2024 · Brenda Diaz-GonzalezI have been going to Petco at Throggs Neck Bronx location for years to have my dogs groomed so much so that I would earn free grooming days because of the amount of times I have my dogs groomed. The groomer I typically have is named Rachel who is great unfortunately she was not available for the date I needed. My dog is a comfort dog for the NYC Department of Education and I had an event to take her to. So I booked someone by the name of Angelica. I understand one wants to have the customer pay for upgrades and add on's and they want to get the most out of the customer but this person was to much. When I explained that my dog Molly did not like nail grinding she was very pushy on wanting to try it on her and it was going to cost extra I kept telling her no but she said she would try when I said will you try for free she said no so I said well no don't do it I will not pay for it. Then she said my dog is not xs size she is a small size so that made the price go up my dog was 10.1 pounds at the time so I didn't say anything to that because I was not sure about the policy. What would normally cost me a 69$ groom which I always tip 10 dollars per dog which would bring the price to 79$ she was already trying to charge me 93$ just for a wash and cut! She tried to justify it as a Shave, brush out, Scissor Lg! I also had my mothers long hair Chihuahua which I bring all the time when I take my dog and normally cost me 75$ then add a 10$ tip just for the balding level 7 blade all over no skirt she was trying to charge me 88$ and justify it as a shave, brush out, scissoring! I was so upset that I asked for my dog Molly back that she had already taken to the back and I went to the Cross Bronx Pet Shop at 2064 cross Bronx and paid 163$ for both dogs which looked great and even smelled great which I have never experienced when I picked up my dogs from Petco. I truly believe that unfortunately Petco has lost me as a grooming customer.
