Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce
For many pet owners in the Phoenix metropolitan area, providing essential preventative care for their animals is a top priority, but the cost can sometimes be a barrier. Vetco Vaccination Clinic, located conveniently inside the Petco on West Peoria Avenue, offers a valuable solution by providing low-cost and accessible veterinary services. Unlike a traditional full-service animal hospital, Vetco's model is focused specifically on preventative care, making it an ideal choice for pet parents who are looking to keep their dogs and cats up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipping, and parasite prevention without the high costs often associated with a full veterinary exam.
The clinic operates with a clear and straightforward mission: to make core pet health services more affordable and convenient. By specializing in a limited range of services, they can pass on the savings to their customers. This is particularly beneficial for those who may have a regular vet for annual physicals or emergencies but want to save money on routine, non-emergency care like rabies shots and other vaccinations. The environment at Vetco is designed to be efficient and welcoming. The staff works diligently to create a positive experience for both pets and their owners, and they are known for being friendly and helpful, answering questions and providing guidance on your pet's health.
Beyond vaccinations, this location provides a host of other beneficial services for pet owners. Situated within a Petco, they can easily integrate with other offerings like pet grooming, dog training classes, and a pet pharmacy. This means you can handle multiple pet care needs in one visit, from getting a vaccination to picking up supplies or even attending a training class. This all-in-one convenience is a major selling point for busy Arizona residents who value efficiency and ease of access.
While some pets may have a temporary reaction to vaccines, it is important to remember that these are usually minor and a small price to pay for protection against serious, often fatal diseases. The focus of Vetco is on preventative wellness, and their services are a cornerstone of responsible pet ownership in the Valley.

What is worth choosing
For Phoenix residents seeking a reliable and cost-effective way to handle their pet’s preventative health needs, Vetco Vaccination Clinic is an excellent choice. The most compelling reason to choose this clinic is the exceptional value it provides. By eliminating the exam fee that is a standard part of a visit to most full-service vet offices, Vetco makes essential services like vaccinations and microchipping dramatically more affordable. This is a huge benefit for pet owners, especially those with multiple animals, who want to ensure their companions are protected without breaking the bank. A customer review highlights this perfectly, noting that the "veterinary clinic at Vetco is an awesome team" and that they would "definitely recommend" them to family and friends.
The convenience of the location is another major plus. Being situated inside a Petco store means that pet owners can accomplish multiple tasks in one trip. You can get your dog vaccinated, pick up their food and toys, and even schedule a grooming session all at the same time. This streamlined approach saves time and effort, which is highly valued by busy individuals and families. While a customer review mentioned a temporary adverse reaction in their dog, this is a known, though uncommon, side effect of some vaccines, and the update from the owner confirmed their pet was "feeling much better today." The staff's helpfulness and positive attitude are also a consistent theme in customer feedback, which helps create a stress-free environment for both pets and their owners. Ultimately, for anyone in Arizona who wants to provide top-notch preventative care without the high cost and hassle of a full-service hospital, Vetco Vaccination Clinic on Peoria Avenue is a smart and practical choice for the health and well-being of their animals.

July 19 · Brenda StevensThey said my dog was 18lbs so he should b fine for his shots and microchip. The microchip didnt seem to affect him but he has been acting like he has the flu every since the second day. Gunk in eyes, no energy, no strength, no appatite, wont drink water hardly. Can't hold his leg to pee. I'm scared to hive him the booster. He was completely healthy b4 the shots. No worms or anything.visit cost $200.Update: my dog is feeling much better today.
October 24 · Kristina Woodsmall (ARt LLC)I had a positive experience at Petco, with my senior dog receiving one of three needed vaccines. I'll need to take him back for the rest due to his age and tiny size. The vet was informative and I could tell he really cared about my dog's needs. The support staff was also amazing.
March 31 · Joy NollAfter already getting approval from my personal real veterinarian, these “vets” had the audacity to tell me they wouldn’t give my dog a rabies shot because the medication he’s prescribed by his vet at Scottsdale Foothills Veterinarian was potentially a “risk” even tho our vet was well aware of his current state and medication cycle and still approved of a rabies vaccine as it is the law. They unlawfully turned us away. Never go here
March 12 · Isaiah AguilarI love the walk-in vaccination clinic on a weekday during hours that it is simple to get your pet in and out in a short time which causes less trauma than at a regular veterinary clinic!
