Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce
For many California residents, our pets are more than just animals; they are members of the family. Ensuring their health and well-being is a top priority, and finding high-quality, convenient, and affordable veterinary care is essential. In the heart of Encino, a solution for routine and preventative pet health needs is readily available at the Vetco Vaccination Clinic. This clinic, located inside the local Petco, offers a streamlined approach to keeping your canine and feline companions up-to-date on their essential vaccinations and wellness services.
The Vetco Vaccination Clinic model is designed to make preventative care accessible without the need for a full-service veterinary hospital visit. By focusing on core wellness services, the clinic can provide a cost-effective and efficient experience for pet owners. The staff and state-licensed veterinarians are committed to providing professional and compassionate care, understanding that a quick and stress-free visit is a top priority for both pets and their owners. From the moment you book an appointment online to the time you receive your pet's medical records, the process is structured to be as straightforward as possible, leaving you with more time to enjoy with your furry friend.
This approach is particularly valuable for Californians with busy schedules who want to ensure their pet's health without the complexity and higher costs often associated with traditional vet visits. The clinic’s focus on vaccinations, testing, and preventative medications means that pet owners can address a wide range of common health concerns in one convenient stop. It's an excellent option for puppies and kittens beginning their vaccination series, as well as for adult dogs and cats needing routine boosters and annual check-ups. The clinic's presence within a popular pet supply store adds another layer of convenience, allowing you to pick up food, toys, or other supplies while you're already there.
The Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Encino is located at 17919 Ventura Blvd, Encino, CA 91316. This prime location on one of the area's main thoroughfares makes it an easy destination for residents of Encino and the surrounding San Fernando Valley. The clinic operates within the Petco store, which provides a familiar and often less intimidating environment for pets compared to a traditional veterinary office. The store's ample parking is a key benefit, reducing the hassle of finding a spot in a busy area. Once inside, the clinic is easy to find, and the process is designed to be efficient.
A significant benefit of this location is the ease of access. For many pet owners in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, a simple, convenient location can make all the difference in staying on top of their pet's health. While not a full-service hospital, the clinic's focus on routine care ensures that it can serve a large number of pet owners in the community, providing a reliable and accessible option for essential preventative medicine.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic provides a focused set of preventative services for dogs and cats.
Vaccinations: The core of the clinic's services includes a wide array of vaccinations to protect against common and dangerous diseases. These include Rabies, Distemper & Parvo (5-in-1), Bordetella, Leptospirosis, and Canine Influenza for dogs, and Rabies, FVRCP (3-in-1), and Feline Leukemia for cats.
Vaccine Packages: To simplify and provide value, the clinic offers various vaccine packages tailored to a pet's age and lifestyle, such as the "Pup Shield Pro" or "Cat Shield Pro" bundles, which combine multiple vaccines, deworming, and microchipping over several visits.
Microchipping: A simple and effective way to ensure the safety of your pet, microchipping services are available and can be added to a package or purchased à la carte.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic’s highlights are centered on convenience and a customer-centric model.
Convenience: The clinic's location within a Petco store makes it a convenient one-stop-shop for both veterinary care and pet supplies. The online appointment booking system and automated reminders simplify the process for busy Californians.
No Exam Fees: A significant advantage is that Vetco clinics do not charge exam fees, which can be a substantial cost at a traditional veterinary hospital. This makes routine care more affordable and accessible.
Efficient Service: The clinic's focus on preventative care allows for a faster, more efficient visit. Many clients appreciate the prompt service and the ability to get their pets' vaccinations and tests done quickly, as noted in a review about the courteous and prompt experience.
Cost-Effective: By offering transparent pricing and value-driven packages, Vetco aims to make essential veterinary care more affordable for a wide range of pet owners.
Online Records: After a visit, clients receive an email receipt with their pet's medical records in PDF format, which can also be accessed and downloaded from the clinic's website. This feature helps pet owners keep their records organized and easily share them with a full-service vet if needed.
While some past customer feedback has highlighted issues with communication and order accuracy, particularly with flea medication, these comments underscore the importance of client diligence, such as double-checking orders before leaving the store. The clinic’s staff is mostly described as nice, which suggests a positive in-person experience, reinforcing the importance of clear communication to avoid potential issues.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Reviews
Really convenient to book appointment online and fill out the paperwork. They're good about sending reminders. Most importantly the experience of the visit is really pleasurable. They are prompt and courteous and were really good in handling our dog. And the upshot is that one can browse in the store when waiting a few minutes for test results instead of sitting in a boring office!
June 01 · AnwarUnfortunately I had a bad experience this past summer because they gave me the wrong flea medication—meds for a much bigger dog. I was really upset because it caused me a lot of trouble to return it as I couldn’t just go back to the store to return it. (It doesn’t work that way for the vet portion of the store.) My dog is 10 lbs and the flea meds I was given was for an 85+ lb dog. I eventually got my money back but I really feel they could have done more to compensate me since I had to call numerous times and go to the store numerous times to resolve it. They also could have communicated better to let me know in a timely matter that I would be refunded, as this was not done! Poor communication on their end and big waste of time and headache for me. The cost was about $69 for 3 month supply of Bravecto so I didn’t wanna lose the cash bc of their mistake! But again, they should have given me something for my time and headache if they had better customer service…I’m also really glad I didn’t give my dog the medication without reading the box. That would have been even worse. They were mostly nice at the store though. Better hope they don’t mess up your order! Check ahead before you leave!
October 23 · Norma GarciaThe staff is great and very helpful. Elijah was very nice and provided me with great customer service. He suggested a type of dog food my dog ate right off the bat. And eats all day now. I will be back for more!
