★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The staff was so great with us and our cat Silver. The staff made sure we understood everything while treating Silver and upon our checkout they went above and beyond to make sure we knew what to do if Silver needed further treatment. The staff contacted me the following day to get an update on Silver and they reassured me if we needed anything at all, they would be there to help. 10/10 recommend.
August 05 · Tracey KeeneWe had our first visit to establish care for my dog after moving back to Corbin and I would recommend this veterinary practice. The facility is clean. The staff are friendly. Dr. Birch was thorough in the evaluation of my dog and answered all my questions. The clinic is transparent in pricing and offers estimates prior to providing services/treatment. The prices seem very reasonable compared to other vet clinics I’ve used out of state. I’m not a huge fan of the business practice of using deposits to reserve appts. I know some other reviews have voiced this opinion as well. That is the only negative remark I have based on my experience.
August 25 · Chelsea RoadenDr. Birch and her staff at Veterinary Care Clinic in Corbin are absolutely amazing! They provide excellent care and truly love on your furbabies like they’re their own. It’s clear they understand that pets aren’t “just animals” — they’re beloved family members. When my senior dog needed a small procedure, I felt completely confident she was in great hands. The compassion, professionalism, and genuine care from this team make all the difference. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!
August 28 · Danielle BarrettShort version of why it’s one star is that they are over priced compared to other vets and they didn’t even help my cat and if I didn’t take her elsewhere she would have died.Long story my cat had fallen off the dryer Tuesday evening around 4pm and I called asking if they could see her and they said yes but it will be $75 I said okay that’s fine. Well I take her there and then they of course ask for the money up front. Well they asked to do x rays and I said that’s fine too. So they did those and it didn’t show anything but they said that the cats gums were very pale and blood work should be done. They gave me two options so in house blood work for around $300 something or come back the next day and do blood work and they will send it out and it will be $100 something. Well we went with the cheaper option and went back the next day to do the send out blood work. So I took her back Wednesday evening around 3pm and they did her blood work. I called Thursday afternoon to see if they had gotten the blood work back because they said it would be the next day but they still hadn’t received it. At this point I told them that my cat had not gotten out of her carrier since I brought her there the day before. She had not ate, drank or used the bathroom. They told me that it would probably be Friday before they got the blood work back and if I wanted to I could bring her in and pay the $300 something to do the blood work in house. Also side note I asked them about keeping her over night because her gums were so pale and she probably needed fluids but they said they don’t have anyone that stays overnight or checks in on the animals through the night. So at this point I figured there is not point in taking her there because they haven’t and can’t do anything for her.I took her to another vet and they did blood work at the office it ended up being around $200 for the vet visit and the blood work. They found out my cat was severely anemic and needed a blood transfusion. Since she was so anemic that is why she could hardly move and when she fell off the dryer she had a hard time getting back up. Sadly the office I took her to was not able to figure out the cause of the anemia or unable to do a blood transfusion so I had to take her to an animal hospital in Richmond.Once at the animal hospital after reviewing her blood work and examining her they were able to tell she was severely anemic from FLEAS! She had a severe infestation of fleas yet both this vet and another vet did not see that! The other vets office was even discussing euthanasia with us because the cat was so sick they figured it was something bad causing it.Needless to say I am glad I took the cat to the animal hospital in Richmond they saved our family cat. Also it is 8pm on Friday the day this vets office was supposed to have the blood work back which would have shown them how sick our cat was but they never called so not sure if they haven’t gotten the results back or if they didn’t bother to check because they figured she would be died anyways. Not sure but don’t take your animals here you will pay a bunch of money for NOTHING!!
August 22 · Melissa MahanI can't thank Veterinary Care Center enough for the exceptional care they provided for my cat and dogs. The staff was very friendly, compassionate, and attentive to each of their needs. Dr. Birch is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain treatments and answer all my questions.
