Veterinary Clinic at the Humane Society of Huron Valley Introduce
For pet owners in the greater Ann Arbor and Southeast Michigan areas, finding a veterinary clinic that offers both high-quality care and compassionate service is a top priority. The Veterinary Clinic at the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) is a remarkable resource that meets this need with a unique mission. As part of a larger, award-winning animal welfare organization, the HSHV Veterinary Clinic operates with a "pay it forward" philosophy. All proceeds generated from their services go directly back into supporting the shelter’s programs and caring for the thousands of homeless and abused animals in the community.
This dual mission of providing excellent community veterinary care while simultaneously funding critical rescue efforts makes the clinic an exceptional choice for anyone who wants their pet's health to contribute to a greater good. The clinic provides a full range of medical services, from routine wellness checks and vaccinations to more complex surgeries and end-of-life support. The staff’s dedication is palpable; they are not just medical professionals, but also passionate animal advocates who understand the deep bond between pets and their families. This commitment to both individual pet care and a broader humanitarian mission has made the HSHV Veterinary Clinic a trusted and beloved institution in the Michigan region for many years.
Their services are designed to be accessible and affordable, ensuring that all pets can receive the care they need, regardless of their family's financial situation. This focus on making pet care attainable for everyone in the community is one of their most significant contributions. From spaying and neutering to emergency medical attention, the clinic stands as a pillar of support for pet owners, helping to foster a healthier and more humane community for all animals.
The Veterinary Clinic at the Humane Society of Huron Valley is conveniently located at 3100 Cherry Hill Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, USA. The facility is strategically positioned to serve the community in and around Washtenaw County. As a physical clinic, it is well-equipped to welcome all visitors with a focus on accessibility. The location features a wheelchair-accessible entrance, a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, and a wheelchair-accessible restroom. These amenities ensure that all pet owners, regardless of their mobility, can comfortably access the building and its services.
While the clinic is a physical location, it’s important to note that appointments are highly recommended to ensure you and your pet are seen in a timely manner and receive dedicated attention from the staff. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I took my doberman, Titan, to the Veterinary clinic for his first set of shots since leaving the breeder. Titan is very energetic and friendly. The staff was great to work with. They talked to Titan and made sure he could trust them. Gentle, affectionate and kind was all the staff from the front desk to the doctor. It was a great experience and I'm so happy I chose Huron Valley Humane Society Veterinary Clinic. Highly recommended!
June 07 · Janet LlerrafI took my 5-month-old puppy here to get spayed, and they were wonderful! Her recovery has been smooth sailing, and incision has been healing up perfectly. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. I could tell they really love animals and their jobs. The spay was also extremely cost effective, around $260, compared to local vets who wanted to charge me upwards of $700. It was absolutely worth the 50 minute drive to come here instead! I would highly recommend this vet clinic to anyone! Especially if you need quality vet care on a budget!
August 19 · Anjani HundichHSHV vet clinic staff & veterinarians are great at their job! They are very compassionate & took very good care of my dogs when they got fixed. Thank you for all the great work that you do!
July 18 · Kristy DoeI just had our 1 y.o. German Shepherd spayed here earlier in the week. This facility and everyone working here is wonderful! The prices are affordable, and they accept Care Credit. I had all of my questions listened to and answered with patience and compassion. When I picked my pup up, I noticed immediately how they took pride in trimming her fur neatly, not to mention how healthy the sutures are. She is healing nicely. They give clear and precise instructions for pre- and post-operative care. They also have the best prices around for vaccines. I don't mind driving an hour one way to get great care from them!!
April 19 · Sarah JodoinThe low cost clinic is great. On time, quick and helpful. The prices are better than the mobile vet. And you won't find a cheaper price for heartworm meds. Staff is courteous, friendly and helpful.
