★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Small Door is excellent and we go out of our way to visit Dr Heller in Bethesda (we live in DC). She is thoughtful and caring and has really helped both my dogs stay healthy and active. The whole team there is wonderful and we cannot say enough good things.
August 18 · Anna UtevskyI’ve been to a lot of traditional vet clinics over the years and honestly, they usually feel rushed, crowded, and overwhelming for both me and my pup. This is the complete opposite. The space feels warm and inviting, and there’s never a packed waiting room. Everything is organized and the people there actually takes their time with you. The vet didn’t just run through a checklist. They explained everything so clearly and made sure I understood my pet’s health plan. Also, Booking appointments was super easy (through their app which I LOVE) and the membership perks are a game changer. Same day availability, transparent costs, and even the ability to chat with the vet team when I have quick (and sometimes very silly lol) questions. No more playing phone tag or waiting days for a call back. Most importantly, my dog felt comfortable the entire visit. They gave him treats, got down on his level, and made it a positive experience. It’s a totally different vibe from the old school places I’ve been to and I honestly can’t imagine going back!!If you want top notch care without the usual stress, Small Door is the way to go, trust me!!
August 26 · versace venomI got my new puppy Diana and needed a clinic to start her care and get her vaccines. As soon as I walked in the door I immediately felt welcomed! The two receptionists greeted me and Diana happily and offered her treats! We saw Dr.Heller and nurse Selena. They were both very lovely and informative of every step of Diana’s care! Would definitely recommend small door time and time again (specifically the Bethesda location because all their staff have been lovely and great!) They also took pictures of Diana “graduating” from her puppy vaccines!!
June 16 · Johana ParedesMy experience with my 15yr. old cat Tessa at Small Door Veterinary was terrific. The place was spotless and stress-less. The staff was friendly and warm and treated Tessa as if she were a queen. I will definitely make this location on Old Georgetown Rd. my go-to veterinarian.
March 08 · Nancy BlackerI had an amazing experience at small door vet in wildwood shopping center. I was in town visiting family and had an emergency come up with my furry boy. The incredible staff from front desk, to vet assistants and the doctors all accommodated us as soon as possible. We were met with such warm and friendly smiles and felt at ease instantly. During the examination, my boy felt super comfortable with the team. The visit went great, and we left getting the exact care my boy needed. Definitely recommend small door vet in bethesda to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, caring and efficient environment for their precious fur babies.
