★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My dog Sadie chewed through her wooden crate while I was at work and hurt herself pretty badly trying to get out. Everyone was so kind and caring, and they explained everything they were doing. The team was caring and attentive, giving Sadie a thorough exam while clearly explaining everything they were doing. The whole team was so thoughtful. They even opened the door for us when we arrived and again when we left, and sent us off with plenty of well wishes. The clinic was clean and well maintained.A huge thank you to Karen, Stacy, and Dr. Gieni for treating Sadie like their own. I’m so grateful for the care and kindness we were shown here. Sadie may have had a rough day, but now she’s rocking her new wild haircut like a true trendsetter!
August 30 · Nora IsaacsOn Father’s Day, my boy Jack was acting weird. Nothing was open in my area, St.Cloud, so I made the drive to Maple Grove. I was amazed the second I walked in that door at 8pm that night. Immediately helped, assessment on Jack started immediately and we had answers within an hour. They were so polite, fast, knowledgeable and explained everything to me and answered all my questions. Seriously, one of the best teams and show of teamwork I have ever seen. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Jack that night, but the compassion and gentle nature of that whole team and how well they treated Jack and I will be with me forever. I am so grateful for the upfront honesty about Jacks potential outcomes and how well they treated my boy when we opted for euthanasia. I hope you all know how much we appreciate what you all do and thank you for all of your kindness that night. Thank you for being great and I highly recommend you.
June 18 · Amber EiynkWonderful! Just Wonderful. So nice to be able to seek pet emergency care without having to go all the way to the cities. Very kind and caring staff and I thought the cost was reasonable considering they are open 24/7. Had to wait quite a bit but that was ok because like they said it meant my dog was stable. Complementary drinks and snacks were nice as well. I love that I was able to stay with my dog the whole time.
July 04 · Allie JohnsonMy little Bear got into a scuffle and ended up with a pretty good cut on his back on July 4th and had to be brought in the next morning for stitches. All pet owners know that any time your baby has to be sedated, it's very scary! I felt so comfortable at VEG as they let me watch the whole process and could feel at ease knowing he was in good hands. There are several vet clinics closer to us, but we opted to have his drain tube and stitches removed at VEG, too, because Bear was so comfortable with the staff! He's part-chihuahua, so I expected him to get short at some point in the process, but not even once :) He's healing up very well and back to his adventurous self. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for peace of mind as their pet is being cared for.
August 10 · StephanieI can’t say enough about how amazing the care was here. I called around everywhere trying to find a vet to see my chicken (yes a chicken). St. Paul was my only other option. I know some may think it is unorthodox, but as a lover of animals, I had become very attached to my little special needs chicken, Crisscross Applesauce, and needed help. The second I stepped in the door I was met with compassion, kindness and understanding. Beth checked us in and was so reassuring and supportive as she is a fellow chicken mama. Jenn came in to perform her assessment and was so kind and understanding. Dr. Tan explained everything with such compassion, warmth and knowledge. We discussed her condition and decided the best thing for her was euthanasia. (Which is what I was expecting, but hoping not to hear). Dr Tan reassured me we were making the right decision and it was the humane thing to do. I knew she was right. She treated me just like any other pet parents and even gave me a hug after she was laid to rest.Jenn spent the time to find her a proper container and even gave me a card with her name and foot print (including all of her little extra beans). Not once did anyone make me feel foolish or unreasonable. Just cared for.I left in tears, but those were not only tears of sadness from the loss of my little Applesauce, but also tears of relief and comfort knowing I received such amazing care during such a hard time for me.As a nurse I have worked in similarly stressful environments like this place clearly is, but the way they handled everything honestly blew my mind. Everyone was so efficient and helpful and this is clearly a very well run establishment. I feel myself and my little Applesauce received better care than a lot of human are allotted. So Beth, Jenn, Dr. Tan, I just want you allto know each of you are amazing at your jobs and your hard work and compassion didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for treating me and Applesauce with such care and compassion. You make an amazing team and you all made a difference that day.Hopefully I will not need another emergency vet any time soon, but if I do, I will not being going anywhere else.
