Veterinary Referral Center (VRC) Reviews
Our experience was great. We love Dr. Martin. She is kind, so professional and so informative. Recently took our baby Bree to be assessed for cancer and she put our hearts and worries at ease. Our Bree has a good prognosis. We are so grateful. We also had our Brute boy treated for lymphoma in 2021 to 2023 and he lived a year and half and if not treated he would have died in 4-6 weeks. The staff are all so friendly as well. I would recommend VRC to everyone that has a sick pet. In pictures-posted with my review is Bree, our little fawn boxer mix and Brute was our big handsome white boxer.
Jun 29, 2025 · Linda EllingsworthI’m incredibly grateful to the team at the emergency vet for taking such great care of my cat since Saturday night. They quickly diagnosed a urinary obstruction and started treatment right away. Thanks to their care, I was able to bring him home today, and he’s already doing so much better since Saturday night and on the road to recovery.Dr. Nielsen & Dr. D’Lauro was amazing—compassionate, knowledgeable, and very transparent throughout the entire process. The staff was also super friendly and supportive, which made a stressful situation much easier to handle. Pricing was fair, especially for emergency care.Highly recommend this clinic if your pet ever needs urgent help. I truly felt like my cat was in the best hands.
Jun 03, 2025 · Angela GentilezzaI have nothing positive to say about my experience. I brought my dog in for care, and instead of proper assessment, I was charged a little shy of $700 for a misdiagnosis that led to nowhere. When I refused additional unnecessary charges for bloodwork after hearing what the current charges were, you assumed a cervical disc issue instead of acknowledging that the true cause was unknown. The next day, I paid an additional fee to my trusted vet, who correctly diagnosed my dog with kidney failure something that should have been caught immediately. Not only did I feel financially taken advantage of, but the pain medication you provided kept my dog lifeless in his final hours rather than offering any comfort. My vet end up telling me not to give it to him. And now, after everything, you send a follow-up asking how the experience was? It was devastating. I would never recommend your services to anyone. I am still mourning, and this situation only adds to the heartbreak. 💔 After 17 years my baby is gone.
May 22, 2025 · Mrs ShulerMy dog had to have emergency surgery late in the evening. The staff at VRC was welcoming and explained all the options. Their friendly interaction made the whole experience much less scary and I could leave knowing our guy was in capable hands. He's now healing up and we will be forever grateful that his life was saved!!
Mar 17, 2025 · Heidi GalanosTook my kitty in for a consultation and proceeded with Dr Sadanaga’s recommendation for a procedure. He answered all my questions, was super transparent about things that could happen during the procedure and after, got back to me via phone call within 24 hours when I emailed concerns, and treated my kitty with the upmost care! All the staff are kind and patient as well. For any readers concerned about pricing, insurance is the best investment you can make for your pet. I use Nationwide and they were able to cover 80%.Regardless, having this procedure done for my cat was well worth it. Can’t wait till he’s fully recovered to enjoy life without being in pain.I have also taken him in to the 24/7 emergency clinic. Like any walk-in experience just know you may be there for an hour or two while they have your pet in the back for examination, run tests (Which they communicate before they do), etc. Staff is very thorough with discharge, re stating their findings, going through at home care, medications, and symptoms they may have. I really appreciated that especially after his initial procedure. Thank you VRC!
