Veterinary Urgent Care Center - East Providence Reviews
I made an online appointment for my 13 year-old senior pug who was showing symptoms of a uti {bladder infection}Our appointment was 11am. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by the friendly front staff, and brought right into the exam room. We first met Allie M, she was our technician. She was very friendly and asking many questions, At first, I thought she was the actual veterinarian because she was so knowledgeable about many different things. I was quite impressed. We then met Dr.Wright, She was very kind, patient and informative. She answered all my questions, never making me feel rushed. She diagnosed Valentina and prescribed her the correct meds that will hopefully help her. She also stated that she will be calling me in a few days to check on Valentina. After leaving, I felt such a sense of relief and confident knowing we are (fingers crossed) moving in the right direction. I would highly recommend them. They are very professional, and very caring.

Jun 13, 2025 · Mannie RaeOur little baby girl beans (kitty) was in distress this evening and we felt she needed immediate attention. We booked the appointment online for the soonest available which originally was about two hours out. Thankfully they called us and told us to bring her in as soon as we could. We loaded her up and took the drive. When we got there we were immediately taken into a room and asked the triage questions. Once they were done with questions, they took her right to the back. The whole time I could hear the staff doting on her, telling her how pretty and sweet she was, which honestly made me feel so much better just knowing she was being treated with love. The doctor (Dr. Proulx) came and talked to us pretty shortly after and walked us through everything (what the case was, what the status was, what she needed and what was optional). She was incredibly kind and non judgmental. She walked us through the costs of things (which were actually reasonable for a vet urgent care). I can’t stress enough how just amazingly nice and judgement free she was, that genuinely made so much of the difference. She explained everything thoroughly and made us feel secure. We left there with our baby feeling so much better wearing a tiny little cone for her tiny little head. Everyone from the staff in the front to the provider was just so nice and friendly. I absolutely recommend EP vet urgent care to anyone who needs their babies seen in a pinch. The booking is easy, they state the flat fee plainly in your confirmation text and it’s just genuinely reasonable for the services and customer service they provide. I can’t thank them enough for helping my girl and making it possible for us to help her without being raked over the coals or feeling judged.
Apr 09, 2025 · Danielle RondeauOur regular vet couldn’t see our sick pup so we went here. Although our pup is pretty sick, they were kind, gentle, explained everything, walked us through what we needed to do at home and let us know what to keep an eye on. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my pet. All the people who work there are awesome! Thank you. Will continue to use them for all my pet emergencies.
Mar 20, 2025 · Cristina Costa, LICSWThey were all Halloween themed. Very quick and helpful. We ran in because our dog had been hit by a car and we wanted to make sure she wasn’t more injured than we could see. They gave us medicine and an ultrasound. A lot of vets working even late at night so they took care of her really quickly and they loved her a lot.Happy Pet people working who showed concern about our situation and rushed her in fastWould recommend coming here for urgent needsI did attempt to call their phone (while filing the police report at the same time) and I didn’t think the phone answering machine was easy to work with but again; I was doing two things at the same time so maybe it’s fine if you’re paying attention. They had cute mini milkbone treats in the waiting room.
