Their model is designed for efficiency and affordability, making it easier for pet owners to keep up with vital vaccinations, microchipping, and parasite prevention. They emphasize the importance of preventative veterinary medicine to protect pets and their owners from common viruses, bacteria, and parasites. While they are not a full-service animal hospital equipped for complex medical issues or emergencies, they serve as a valuable resource for routine wellness, aiming to be a professional and accessible option for pet health maintenance. The Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Seekonk is located at 75 Highland Ave #6, Seekonk, MA 02771, USA. This address typically indicates a clinic operating within a Petco store. The primary advantage of Vetco's location within a Petco store is its accessibility and convenience. Parking is usually ample in shopping plaza environments, making visits less cumbersome. Furthermore, many Vetco clinics operate on a walk-in basis, or offer flexible appointments, which can be highly beneficial for busy pet owners. This integrated retail setting means pet owners can often combine a trip for pet supplies with a necessary health service, streamlining their errands.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic focuses primarily on preventative care services, making essential health maintenance both accessible and affordable. While their scope is narrower than a traditional full-service animal hospital, they provide crucial services vital to a pet's ongoing health.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic offers several appealing features for pet owners in Massachusetts, particularly those seeking specific types of care:

Vetco aims for "transparent pricing, no exam fees and prescription pest solution savings," which can be a significant financial relief.
- Convenience and Accessibility: The clinic's setup within a retail environment like Petco, combined with flexible appointment options (often including walk-ins), makes it incredibly convenient. Clients appreciate that they can often be "taken right in if possible when we get there" and that their locations are widespread.
- Focus on Preventative Care: Vetco's core mission is centered on prevention, which is crucial for long-term pet health. By making essential vaccines and parasite control accessible, they help pet owners proactively manage their pets' well-being.
- Professional and Friendly Staff: Despite some negative feedback regarding customer service on broader issues, specific reviews for the clinic often highlight the on-site staff as "very professional and friendly." This suggests that the direct interactions with the veterinary team during a visit are often positive and accommodating.
- Efficient Service: For pet owners seeking quick, focused visits for vaccinations, Vetco's model is designed for efficiency. While some internal discussions on Reddit suggest time constraints for staff, for the customer, this often translates to a relatively fast in-and-out experience for basic services.
- No Exam Fees for Vaccinations: Vetco's model typically eliminates the separate "exam fee" often charged by full-service vets for each visit, meaning clients primarily pay for the specific services (vaccines, microchip, tests) they receive. This contributes significantly to its low-cost appeal for routine preventative care.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Reviews
What kind of circus does this clinic run? First, they didn’t confirm which shot my dog needed. They just gave her a rabies shot, which isn’t what she needed. Second, I call the 800 Vetco number and was told I would receive a call back within 24 hours. I didn’t. I call again and get told the same thing. No call back. Horrible customer service.
Jul 03, 2025 · Alicia KellyWe have always been fans of Vetco ClinicTheir prices are more reasonable than our regular Animal Hospital that we take our dogs to They’ve always been accommodating with their appointments And usually take us right in if possible when we get there. The staff is very professional and friendlyThanks to Vetco
Jun 29, 2025 · Alexander NataleTook my 2 ⅓ old kitten there for his vaccination, hoping these people would be trained correctly and handle him with care. They grabbed his scruff and forcibly held him down as he SCREAMED his lungs out. I've done research on this and now know this is NOT normal behavior. They man handled my kitten and ever since he's been terrified. After my appointment I cradled my cat as I picked up a treat and toy on the other side of the store to apologize to him and I heard another cat (seemingly a grown cat) also screaming. These people are untrained and will harm your cats. To prove this further they were incredibly unhelpful with questions and didn't give me any instructions, they were rude and constantly giving dirty looks.I will never be returning and am horrified that my poor baby cat had to deal with this horrible people who are supposedly trained. The petco staff themselves were very sweet and chatty but the VETCO staff were the worst untrained people ever and I'd go as far to say this is animal abuse. To the woman and man who did this to my cat and the other ladies cat, I want you to know you should not be handling animals. Our pets shouldn't come home traumatized because you hold them down to a metal table while you grab their scruff / throat. If my cat is forever traumatized at vets it will be because of you. You should be ashamed and disgusted in yourselves.A real vet would never handle a animal like that.
Jan 13, 2025 · Mickey KenyonI’ve been taking my fur babies to vetco total care and vetco clinic at other locations all the time. The experience was all wonderful, except at this place. As said in other comments, disorganized, unprofessional and time-wasting. Waited 30 minutes in line despite of having an appointment. The vaccination station looked like a joke too. It was just one table in between some isles. Some of the employees were nice, but some of them were kind of rude. Won’t come here again.
Jul 07, 2024 · Ariel SDon’t waste your time going here, it was a absolute waste of my time spend almost $200 for nothing because they didn’t even give my cat ear mite medicine, they suggested I take him to the vet, well I could have spend $200 there instead of here then & I had my cat in a carrier so my kitten was in my arms so I had to spend $60 for another carrier instead of just putting them together, as there were all dogs fighting, when I was leaving the store. but yes my cats in one carrier was the problem what a joke, no control over the dogs at all, terrible set up also, the vet lady acting like she didn’t understand anything, my cat never had ear mites or anything till I got a kitten with ear mites, so clearly they were ear mite's in my cats ears, she goes how do I know it’s not a infection like what ? Just absolutely ridiculous I will never waste my time again…they definitely need better people who know what they are doing there…so disgusted unless your only getting shots for your animal’s, I wouldn’t bother going there, any real issues they don’t know what they are doing at all. Terrible I work literally 6 days a week what a waste of my time…unbelievable !
